My husband and I recently stayed at Hidden Ridge Resort for our honeymoon, and it was absolutely perfect. The location is ideal—only a 5 to 10-minute drive from downtown Banff, which gives you the perfect balance of convenience and complete quiet and privacy. One of our absolute favorite parts was the outdoor hot tub. Soaking in the warmth while taking in the incredible mountain views was unforgettable. Inside, the wood-burning fireplace added such a romantic touch to our stay. We loved sitting on the couch together, watching the fire, and enjoying the complimentary wine the hotel kindly gifted us.

The hottub and sauna were the best! The option for a fire is nice. A bit outdated but clean which is very important.

Overall, great experience. Staff is friendly and helpful. The place was clean and felt cozy.

Great location and facilities. Being a little outside of town meant it was quiet and peaceful. Free bus service was easy to use to get around.

There were noises from the room above us, 2 nights of our stay. That disturbed our sleep a bit. Also, the pillows are a tad too high for our comfort.

We absolutely loved this place for our family, away from downtown so you have some quiet solitude. beautiful view from the pool, our room. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Well kept place.

We were upgraded due to a mouse being in our original lodge. Staff dealt with the situation well and promptly.

We loved the view of the hot tub. The location was very nice and the convenience of a bus to town was nice, no need to find parking.

We stayed at Hidden Ridge Resort in April and honestly, what a spot. The unit size was fantastic, we loved the fireplace, the pool area, and having deer wandering past our back deck was such a cool experience. From the outside, the property is absolutely beautiful and really suits the mountain setting. Inside, it definitely feels dated — the carpets look like they may never have been replaced and some of the wallpaper looks 40 years old — so just be prepared for that first impression when you walk in. But once you move past the older interiors, it’s a great place to stay with space. One thing that really stood out was how clean everything was. The cleaning staff deserve serious credit because despite the age of some fixtures and furnishings, our asthma and hay fever didn’t flare up at all, which could have easily been a different story. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back.

The free bus transportation was an unexpected bonus! We didn't have to deal with parking in Banff! Wonderful hospitality, amazing views at the outdoor hot tub, laundry convenience, great set up in the rooms, and beautiful setting!

Very nice quiet area good for family big area like 2 bedrooms with living area and kitchen. Fir place nice add to the property BBQ area and the mountain behind our room add more .
