“Great value & bonus facilities!”
Room was clean and comfortable, quiet too! In a good location, about 15-20 mins to walk leisurely to downtown or less than 5 minutes on the bus which you get free tickets for during your stay. Pools at the canoe hotel are an amazing bonus - make sure you check them out if staying!!!! A great option for Banff.

The room was large and clean. Beds were comfy. Staff were helpful and it was a real bonus to be able to use the facilities of the sister hotel across the road.

All perfect. Lovely to be able to use the facilities in the Canoe Hotel - the hot pools are stunning. Even to get offered specific teas and coffees and get given bus passes to use around Banff.

“Good choice”
We enjoyed our stay. A bit far from the city center. No reception desk or hot tub on site. We could use the hot tub from The Canoe Hotel which was nice.

We loved our stay. The room was large, clean and very comfortable. There are no staff on site. Check in is at Hotel Canoe across the road, but the staff there were wonderful and only a phone call away. Even though it is located 1.5km from the centre, it is an easy walk, and you also get free local transit passes for the duration of your stay. We also appreciated use of the hot pool and laundry over at the Hotel Canoe, and both the Wifi and parking are excellent.

“The perfect base”
I liked that all the rooms faced inward to a courtyard, the room was really spacious, comfortable and had everything you needed. Something to note that you check in across the road at the canoe suites and have use of their facilities and some of the otter hotel. They also gave me a bus ticket which meant even though it’s a bit out of the village it was super easy to travel in or to the gondola, the bus isn’t expensive but it’s a nice touch. There’s a gas station next to the motel which is great for a late night snack and has an a&w for a quick burger and the bus stop is right outside to get into town, so convenient.

“Nice room but difficulty getting the hotel to honour their cancellation policy”
The linens were excellent—I've stayed in hundreds of hotels, and these were possibly among the most comfortable. The room itself was nice, though the flooring design was a rather unusual choice.

“10/10 would recommend!”
Lovely place to stay. Staff are absolutely fantastic they couldn’t do enough to help us and were all so friendly. We were given free bus tickets for the duration of our stay - bus stops right outside the motel so really easy to get into centre of town. Walking also only takes 15 mins. Complementary tea and coffee provided every day! Towels changed for us daily. Can’t fault it would really recommend!! Can also use the spa pools at Hotel Canoe opposite which were lovely!

“Great budget option with high end hotel amenities!”
All amenities from The Hotel Canoe are included with this motel, big plus if you want higher end hotel amenities but cheaper rooms(the rooms are still VERY nice however)

It was on a quiet street across from the Canoe. We could access facilities at the canoe like the hot tub. I love the coffee they provide it is delicious. The room is clean and pleasantly laid out. The beds are comfortable

Clean, ideally located and had access to the facilities of Canoe Hotel approximately 5mins away. Great value for money.
