This ski-in, ski-out lodge is located in at Sunshine Village Resort in Banff National Park. It is 20 minutes' west of Banff city centre. It features multiple restaurants, and outdoor hot pool, ski storage and spa services. Each room at the Sunshine Mountain Lodge feature a 42-inch flat-screen HDTV and wood furniture. Each bathroom has slate floors and granite counter tops with hairdryers. Windows open for fresh air. Guests can work out in the on-site gym or relax in the dry sauna. The lodge also schedules movie nights, snowshoe tours and tobogganing adventures. Banff Upper Hot Springs are 25 minutes' drive away from Sunshine Mountain Lodge.

The place is beautiful, although difficult to reach. You have to pay for the gondola in the winter time. One of the gondolas at the top of the mountain didn't work.

Great experience to a 20-minute gondola ride (one-way) going up to the lodge. The staff are friendly. The hike to the lake is so worth it. The room included water bottles, coffee pods, electric kettle and a Dyson fan! Those little things made us comfortable.

“Gorgeous retreat in the meadows”
What a surprise. This resort in the middle of Sunshine Meadows was delightful. The gondala ride from the car park was the prefect introduction to this lovely resort, with helpful staff and such a pleasant outlook.
