“Warm and welcoming at Buttermere”
Beautiful location, easy to get to, and not too far from local amenities and sight-seeing places. Fabulous part of the world, lovely cottage which was very comfortable and well-stocked for games/books/TV/internet/kitchen equipment etc, and hosts were very friendly and helpful.

It’s a beautiful cottage with everything we needed. Tastefully decorated, very clean, great location, everything was perfect. Situated a short drive to the local towns and coast, great location.

“Fabulous cottage”
Lovely cottage, well decorated with comfortable bed and large walk in shower. Fully stocked kitchen with a welcome basket of goodies. Off road parking and a lovely seating area in the sunshine. Large TV with satellite channels. A very quiet location but easy to get to all the local villages and towns. The owner lives at the house at the back so I felt safe being on my own. Two fabulous golf courses within a short drive and lots of coastal walks to follow. Would certainly book this property again.

The cottage was absolutely superb. Nice side garden. The cottage inside was very clean and spacious. The kids loved having their own bedroom and shower downstairs.

“A gem of a cottage in an absolutely gorgeous area of Scotland.”
Lovely hosts that were so kind and helpful. Absolutely loved Buttermere Cottage and the area blew us away. A week is fab but honestly not enough. The coastline is epic with incredible wildlife. Lovely friendly community and places to visit. A total gem, we will be back,
