Bed was so comfortable. Location was excellent, right off Main Street Bandara, but enough away from the music from the bars. Clean and well equipped.

Everything! Tracy who checked us in was amazing. She told us all about the area, gave us all the info on the local bars and shops and what was happening. The place is absolutely amazing. The bed was the best I have ever slept in

The cabin was set in a lovely area and was nothing like a motel. You were detached from everyone else and able to park right outside the front door

Great location for our one night stop over. An easy drive for our trail ride with Historic Bandera, & a short stroll to town afterwards for the “Cowboy” bars.

So close to all local amenities. The friendliness of the staff when checking in making sure we were all armed with right info to make our stay even more perfect. Whilst out in the locals even bought us a drink. Really couldn’t fault this place

Great location, super friendly welcome, cute real Texas style cabins with an extra bed. Big rooms and all basic amenities are there. Plus a cute little fire place out the front.

Tracy was very welcoming and helpful. It's extremely close to main street and other local shops, restaurants and bars. I would definitely stay again and hope to be back next year.

The climate of old’s cool Texas motel, It was super clean and personel was really friendly.

The staff were welcoming and the rooms were clean and cosy. I am a UK traveller who stayed in October, so I was very hot. But the rooms are well air conditioned and designed. Plenty to do in the area including steak night on a Wednesday (don’t miss it) and horse riding (I recommend Historical Rides Bandera with Harrieth and Tom)

Hidden gem. This little spot is excellent and has everything you need for a short stay. Couldn't fault it. Walkable distance to town too with free parking.

I had such a wonderful stay at The Vaquero! From the moment I arrived, the ladies who run the place made me feel completely at home, they’re truly the best. Their kindness and hospitality gave the motel such a welcoming, small-town charm that made my trip to Bandera even more special. The location couldn’t be better, you can easily walk to all the local bars, shops, and activities happening around town. It’s the perfect spot if you want to soak up everything Bandera has to offer without needing to drive everywhere. If they ever added a nice pool, that would be the cherry on top! I absolutely recommend The Vaquero to anyone visiting Bandera. It’s one of those places that leaves you smiling long after you’ve checked out.

Excellent accommodation, cleanliness, very good location, close to the main street in Bandera, quiet, parking space. The place is rustic, you can feel the Texan spirit, everything was wonderful. Bandera is a place you shouldn't miss if you visit Texas.
