We had an amazing stay at Mount Edge Riverside Hotel in Bandarawela! From the moment we arrived, Vijay and his wife made us feel so welcome. They were both incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive to all our needs – true hospitality at its best. The property is exactly like the pictures – absolutely beautiful and serene. It’s spacious, well-maintained, and surrounded by nature. There’s plenty of room to walk around, relax, and enjoy outdoor activities. We especially loved seeing the bunnies, ducks, chickens, and other animals – such a charming experience! The river nearby adds to the peaceful vibe and makes the place even more special. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and cozy – everything we needed for a pleasant stay. It’s also great value for money, considering the quality of the service, the surroundings, and the overall experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Bandarawela – we’d definitely love to come back!

House is very clean. plus friendly and helpful staff. There is a cook to prepare local meals. They charge only for the ingredients. Please give a generous tip to the cook.

“Fairytale- beautiful enchanting relaxing experience with beautiful souls in a fairyland”

Apologies this will be the longest review ever, but I must do it as we all have fallen in love with this beautiful fairyhome. Not sure whether the words i know are enough to describe our enchanting experience.We stayed at this beautiful breath taking fairyland for 6 days. It was my 5 year old sons second visit to Sri Lanka and I took my parents with me too. My son turned 6 there so there were thousands of dreams planed in my head to celebrate his birthday with my fanily for the first time in Sri Lanka. Thanks to all these beautiful souls in this beautiful place all those dreams were full filled beyond expectations. Dear Kasun, i am extreamly grateful to you for having the ability to maintain such a gorgeous clean fairyhouse without damaging the surrounding enchanting environment. Your mum aunty Sujatha was amazing , sich a beautiful kind soul and personality who looked after us and support everything i planned for my parents and son. Vijayan is the most amazing trustworthy responsible hardworking caretaker/manager i have met in a holiday home or a hotel so far. His wife Gowri is such a lovely character who surtounded us with love and care. The love care, security support during tgis stay, me my son my parents my brother my friend Thilini our biggest support Jagath received were just unbelievable. My son actually cried when we left this beautiful home and we had to turn around to go give another hug to Vijayan his Carom partner. He still asks to go back. We managed to invite and peacefully offer an arms giving to two Venerable Theros who lives in the temple opposite the fairyhome. Thankful to both Ven. Theros for acceptinv the invite to the home with such short notice and blessing my parents and my son and all of us. Everything went perfect and beautiful , Aunty Sujatha, Vijayan , were just amazing .Gowri and the little resturant related to the mount edge hotel have been supportive too.

We were a little late to reach our destination on that day But when we entered our accommodation, the first thing we observed was that it was so great. Everything was very neat, clean and beautiful. This is a really nice destination in a beautiful free location I firmly believe that the idea of coming back was in the minds of everyone in our group. I'm sure finding a destination like this in Bandarawela will benefit many more in the future. So thank you very much for your service with great hospitality as a in charge here..! It like a little white palace…

Mr. Nadan has arranged the breakfast it was fine. if we are bringing the food items we can prepare the way we need. all the kitchen equipment’s available in the property. Mr. Nadan helped a lot during our stayed
