This is a wonderful bungalow with all the necessary facilities, set in a calm and relaxing environment. It is an excellent choice, especially if you are looking for a place with great cooking facilities and a homely atmosphere. We truly felt at home throughout our stay. A special mention goes to Mr. Laal, the Manager, for his exceptional hospitality. He is a very friendly, helpful, and welcoming person who made our stay even more enjoyable. His attention to guests and warm personality added a special touch to our experience. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable getaway.

Great place, there should be the name board to find the place. The place was absolutely clean and the caretaker Mr. Lal was very helpful.

10/10 this is best choice around. Two room house is yours with everything you need, including kitchen with gas and rice cooker. The house has large garden on hill side with fruit trees, eucalypt and wild animals, birds and big cockroach. No large roads around so it is always silent. The pekoe trail and ella town are reachable via bus or tuk ride.

Beautiful and quiet location and exceptional service by Lal for whom nothing was too difficult. The meals we ordered were excellent and everything about the place is so carefully organised and much value for money.

Very easy check in process with good communication beforehand. Location slightly out of Bandarawela city but peaceful spot. About 200LKR Tuk Tuk on Pick-Me. Lal was a helpful friendly host. The house was spacious and well equipped. We managed to make our dinner there one evening with what was provided- oil, spices etc.

Well furnished clean and cozy cottage, surrounded by siren nature. Kitchen cupboard was well organised with crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils, pots, pans and even cooking spices. Got some much needed washing done using the washing machine and clothes dryer. Due to the wet weather in Bandarawela. Staff - Lal was very friendly and helpful. Owner was professional and prompt with directions. Authentic Sri Lanken breakfast - stringhoppers was delicious. I will definitely book this cottage again.

We recently stayed at Modern Nature Retreat in Bandarawela, and the experience was truly awesome. The property is beautifully set in a peaceful location, surrounded by mountain views and greenery, offering the perfect balance of modern comfort and natural charm. The accommodation was spotless and cozy, with a well-equipped kitchen that made it easy to prepare our own meals when we wished. The breakfast provided was plentiful and very tasty, a great way to start each day. Most importantly, the caretaker was extremely helpful and attentive, always making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The location is excellent too, with easy access to tea estates, scenic viewpoints, and the charm of Bandarawela town.

Our family loved the clean house with excellent facilities. The large main room fit 4 of us and they provided an extra bed in the living room. It was a beautiful view and tranquil with almost no noise. It was the only place we've been that had a washing machine and microwave. And Lal, the host was very helpful.

The house is in a quiet place not far from Bandarawela town center. Here you can enjoy a very peaceful stay in nature. We cooked our meals and ate outside. The house is very clean and fully furnished. Lal is the house keeper living next door. He is a very kind person and can help you with all your needs. He is also a great singer :) we recommend this place

We returned from our amazing trip to Bandarawela, and I couldn't be happier with our stay at Serenity Nature's Nest! The place was absolutely superb—perfectly cozy and surrounded by nature. The owner communicated with us in detail before our arrival, making the booking process seamless. A special mention to Lal, the caretaker, who was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. Peaceful and very clean felt like home

The guest house was clean and well-maintained, situated in a beautiful and peaceful location. We had a wonderful time, and the host was very kind, assisting us with breakfast arrangements, which were included with the booking. I will definitely choose this place again next time.

Very nice landlord Lal, great communication with both him and Malinda (the owner?). We loved the surrounding garden. Quiet and beautiful place. Great accomodation for those who wanna escape the busy downtown.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed warmly by the host, who truly made us feel at home. The hospitality here is unmatched, with the host going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The cottage itself is cozy and feels like a home away from home – perfect for a relaxing getaway. We initially planned a shorter stay but ended up staying more than 5 days because we enjoyed it so much. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful, homely stay in Bandarawela.
