“Great value for money in Mirissa”

Newly redecorated rooms, everything was very clean, the beds firm but very comfortable, really comfortable pillows and the family running it were extremely sweet. Good breakfast of eggs, hoppers and fruit in the morning. Great value for money.

“Great stay in a family hotel just acros the beach”

Well located nice family hotel. We got a room with a view to the sea, comfy beds, quiet ac, large bathroom, no hot water but as it’s so warm weather it’s good to have a refreshment in room temperature shower:) the host lady is so kind, every morning preparing a really good breakfast and making feel us so welcome.

Breakfast and service great and plenty. Location, room and breakfast really good value for the money 😊 I would stay there again!

“Nice accommodation for good value”

Close to the beach-2min walk. Specious room and bathroom with hot water, terrace. All restaurants and shops walking distance. Nice breakfast-ask for Sri Lanka’s. Smiley host

Whole family was very nice to us. Delicious and big breakfast. A/C on the room and very clean space. Nice placement of the house. It is across the road from the beach. About 1 minute to get there.

“A basic homestay close to the beach.”

We had a fan room at the front downstairs and another fan room at the very back upstairs. Both clean and smelled fine. In comparison the upstairs room better for daylight and airflow. Staff- Family is friendly and helpful to book taxi and tuk tuks (english is limited though) Cleanliness- Rooms and bathrooms are very clean. Location- Great location across the street from the beach. The section of the beach the homestay is closest to is really great for kids to play in the sand and a small pool of sea protected from the waves by the reef. Request the Sri Lankan breakfast which was pretty good, the western breakfast was too basic. I liked the tea was served in nice tea sets.

“Great Guesthouse in Mirissa”

It was a total pleasure to stay at Allan Guesthouse. The business is run by a family that is super friendly, caring and attentive at all times. From the moment I arrived until I left they were super nice. They served me the best breakfast I had in Sri Lanka, abundant and delicious. The room on the first floor is very simple and with everything you need. Don't expect luxuries. It overlooks the road and can be a bit noisy. The rooms on the second floor can be quieter. I recommend this place. The family and their charisma made my stay very pleasant. The location is super top. Across the street and you are on the beach, also just a 10 min walk to the coconout Tree Hill.
