“Highly recommended to stay in this grand hotel”
One of the most comfortable hotels we stayed in after years of traveling. The check-in process was quite smooth and the staff is really friendly as well. We got a free upgrade to the deluxe room and the room exceeded our expectations. The bed is extremely comfortable and the bathroom is very clean and grand. The hotel is very big has quite a few facilities like swimming pool, pool to kayak and cinema, although we did not have the time to use them since we were only in Brunei for 2-3 days. Definitely recommended to stay in this hotel if you are in Brunei and we will stay in this hotel again if we are back in Brunei.

“Go Empire”
The Empire Brunei offers 5 star service throughout the hotel. Personally I think it's more a resort than a hotel. The room we stayed in was very clean and came with complimentary mini bar. It also offers stunning view of the South China Sea from a very spacious balcony. Facilities on the hotel ground are very well maintained. The retail shops in the hotel offers a variety of interesting products.

The Empire is by far the best hotel in Brunei. The location is perfect. Staff were friendly and always willing to go the extra mile. Rooms were large, clean and well equipped with amazing views. I could not fault this hotel.

“Great place to stay in Brunei”
A huge resort and country club, can easily spend the whole day here enjoying use of the pools, restaurants, walking around the resort, sunsets were epic whilst we were there. Enjoyed the Japanese restaurant Zen and local food at the lounge restaurant. There’s a 24 hour patisserie with pastries and drinks. A couple of souvenir shops. The country club offers plenty of sporting activities. There’s a pool bar. No alcohol drinks are served keep in mind. Loved the spacious room, we were upgraded to an Ocean Room in the Seaview building. Staff were professional and attentive throughout always aiming to please. We arranged a car and driver to take us to explore the sights in Brunei paying $120 for three hours in the evening and $200 for 6 hours in the day to head to the mosques, museums and the water village. I would suggest a minimum of three nights in Brunei at the resort for a lovely stay.

“Impressive, but faded glory”
The place itself is absolutely marvelous. An excessive amount of marble and gold surface its walls and floors. It's breathtaking to be here. The hotel staff is really friendly and helpful.
