“Awesome Place and Incredible Hosts - Can highly recommend!”

The suite and the whole yard were truly awesome! Beautifully and thoughtfully decorated - everything one could need was there and easy to find. Quick and great response to any questions. Very nice hosts - easy, helpful communication. Only a very short drive to Bancroft where there are restaurants, stores etc., and other nice things (like Silent Lake) to do nearby. We have stayed in many places but this was the best!

We were in the area for a family wedding. The breakfast was phenomenal - definitely recommend that guests get the breakfast package! Use of the deck was great, had coffee and breakfast outside. Lots of Keurig coffee selections - tea and hot chocolate too although we had coffee only!

“Best Place to Stay in Bancroft”

Check-in/out was extremely easy which was appreciated coming from the city. The apartment was clean, stocked with towels, full kitchen, and they had tea/coffee pods for us with a fresh bottle of water to use. The grounds (front and back) were well-maintained and beautiful. Although we did not get to fully enjoy the bonfire, and the backyard, we hope to stay here again if we are ever back in Bancroft. I felt secure that the hosts were close-by if we needed anything. We came for a wedding in Bancroft, and seeing where friends stayed in local motels/airbnbs - we are certain we scored the best accommodation for our weekend away. It is also close to downtown Bancroft and the Granite for a nice dinner.

Great location, good breakfast, very friendly helpful staff, spotlessly clean. Beautiful garden was a bonus, lovely place to relax after being out and about all day.

The suite is very clean and comfortable, the hosts are very friendly, kind and available, and there is everything ypu need ... highly recommended!

during our stay. I can see that the host has put in effort to provide everything you need for their guest's comfort of your stay. Like: there is a regular hair blow drier, hair iron, hair curling. Baby slippy cup. which are extra miles that the host provides.

Wonderful quiet location, less than 1 hour from Algonquin on outskirts of the charming town of Bancroft. Great welcome, friendly and helpful, fantastic facilities , lovely breakfast and inviting woodland to explore (although we didn’t have time). Highly recommend, wish we’d booked a longer stay!

“Perfect stay”

The stay was perfect ! The apartment was very clean and very comfortable. It makes you feel like being at home. We would have like to stay a bit longer to enjoy the calm around the house.

“Best Accommodation in the Bancroft area.”

This Suite is a wonderful little GEM in the Canadian Woods. The hosts thought of every detail you could possibly want or need. The accommodation was spotless. The breakfast was fresh and tailored to our request. After we checked in, we spent a bit of time sitting outside on the private patio to the suite, overlooking the woods, enjoying the peace and quiet of nature. There is a well prepared binder in the Suite with lots of good information on the area, including shopping and dining suggestions. Our one night stay could not have been more perfect. The best accommodation in that whole area and for a reasonable cost to boot.

“A hidden gem”

The suite was more than we expected, had everything you could need, it was very spacious, it had a very efficient pellet heater which we needed and a lovely garden\patio area which unfortunately we hadn't time to use on our one night stay. Aileen was very friendly and we had a lovely continental breakfast.

A wonderful place to stay just a few minutes outside of Bancroft with the most amazingly kind and welcoming hosts. The apartment was perfectly clean, the bathroom and the kitchen were stocked with everything we needed. The outside area was beautiful and extremely well maintained. The bed and the pillows were soooo comfortable!!! We received very clear instructions how to get there and there was a binder with suggestions for places to visit in the area. The breakfast options were great. We had a wonderful time at Suite in the Bush!

“Relaxing outbreak.”

We had a wonderful stay at Aileen and Dave’s apartment. The location is truly special – surrounded by beautiful, green nature, it offered the perfect place to relax and unwind. Aileen and Dave are incredibly warm and welcoming hosts. The much-praised breakfast absolutely lived up to the expectations, and we also enjoyed a lovely chat with them over a glass (or two) of wine. It was a great opportunity to get to know the Canadian perspective on many things. Thank you for a memorable experience – we would love to come back!

“Spacious Clean Suite in the Woods”

Beautiful wooded setting about 10 minutes from town. A spacious suite with King bed. Use of large deck. Comfy chairs for watching TV. Good Keurig coffee.

We don't usually reply to questionnaires but this stay was outstanding. It was a great way to finish our visit to Canada. Aileen was a great hostess. The setting was outstanding and the facilities great. A highly recommended venue in our opinion.

This suite offers a meticulously maintained space with comfortable furniture. The location was close to town and very quiet. The breakfast was homemade and fresh and our hosts were super friendly and communicative. I was particularly impressed by how cleanly the suite was kept. Lots of available coffee was the cherry on top!
