Friendly busy social hub for the town, good prices for food and drink, varied menu. Ample car park, and sizable room with desk for working, good shower. There had been torrential rain in the afternoon and floods throughout the town, the kitchen and some staff quarters were flooded, but the kitchen still manage to provide some soup and sandwiches at night for supper, full menu was back on the next night.

Fabulous location. Clean, comfortable and staff were wonderful. Food was excellent. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area. I cannot say good enough things about this hotel.

There was no breakfast. There was nowhere nearby to have breakfast before 09:00, unless you were prepared to have a takeaway.

Staff were very welcoming. Although the room wasn't very modern it was clean and comfortable. Lots of parking outside. Convenient for the town. There was music playing downstairs on the Thursday evening which was audible but enjoyed the Scottish jigs. a bit noisy on the other nights but had expected this as rooms are over the bar etc so it wasn't an issue. No breakfast available but had access to a fridge on the landing for milk, food etc
