Overview
Situated on the outskirts of Banchory and set in a scenic location between Feugh River and King George V Park and Pavilion. Banchory Lodge Hotel is a Georgian mansion, with a modern flair (free private parking onsite). Rooms at Banchory Lodge are individually decorated and bed sizes vary from doubles to four posters (twin bedded rooms available on request- subject to availability). Each room has views of the large grounds of the hotel and some also have views of the beautiful River Dee. All rooms feature TV's, tea and coffee trays and an elegant en suite bathroom. The bridge over the River Feugh is just half-a-mile away and is famous for witnessing majestic leaping salmon. Salmon fishing is also available from the end of the hotels grounds. Banchory's bustling town center is a stone's throw away and the city of Aberdeen is just a 45-minute drive from the hotel and Aberdeen Airport is within 20 miles.

“Beautiful location, lovely small hotel...will be back!”
Banchory lodge is one of my favourite small hotels, the location is superb, the rooms are very well appointed and looked after. The bar is a lovely area to hang out in. There was a slight hiccup with the booking of one of our rooms, however this was dealt with very well by the receptionist on duty.

“Comfy beds and fine food”
Very good food at the dinner. I liked the non alcoholic wine, especially in fine restaurants I miss them most of the times. The bed was very comfortable. The sound of the river was comforting.

All food was exceptional and the Location outstanding scenery with Rivers ,Woodlands and Hillside view points a few miles south. All of the staff were incredibly dressed smart waistcoat outfits. Perfect.

“Excellent stay”
Beautiful hotel in an excellent location. Breakfast and dinner were excellent with lots of choice. The room was clean and very well presented, lots of space, tea and coffee making supplies provided as well as water.

“Unimpressed! Definitely not for families or staying with pets”
The location of the property was idyllic and probably had some potential in the past before it lost its character (which includes the general lack of warmth and hospitality amongst its staff) and its “periodic” charm. The dinner menu at the restaurant was good.
