We stayed at Batad View Inn after a day of hiking with our guide, Don Don, which was kindly organised by Irene from Banaue Greenfields. We hiked from Cambulo to Batad, with a stop at Tappiyah Waterfalls. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the friendly Jeff, who cooked us a delicious dinner. The accommodation was simple and clean, with incredible views of the rice terraces. Bathrooms were shared, and there was an option for a hot shower, but after walking all day, we opted for a refreshing bucket of cold water instead. In the morning, Don Don gave us a short lesson on the traditional rice milling method on the property, which was a lovely bonus we weren’t expecting. Thank you to Jeff for your wonderful dinner and warm hospitality.

Batad View Inn is perfectly located in Batad and offers a unique view over the old village and rice terraces. The restaurant's terrace is the ideal place to eat, have a drink with family and friends and rest while enjoying the incredible view. Jeff and Ramon are wonderful hosts. We had an amazing time there !

Great basic accomodation when coming to Batad. The rooms are clean, bathroom is rustic but the view you get from your room is priceless.

Fantastic views. A good place to sleep, but waking up and having breakfast with a view is the reason you come to batad/banaue.

“Rustic, charming, and welcoming”

The view here is the best! It is such a treat to wake up in the morning to the sound of roosters and birds, a cool breeze, and a panoramic view of the historic Batad Rice Terraces right outside the window. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. Mang Ramon from Ramon's Homestay next door offered to arrange a cultural performance by the village children at night so it made our stay even more immersed in local culture.

Superb experience. Thank you for the warm accommodation. Kuya Jeff and Kuya Ramon made the Batad experience even better. They shared so many stories about Ifugao; invited us to a bonfire accompanied with Grilled fish and rice wine. Kuya Jeff also allowed me to mingle with the residences. Wonderful experience to treasure 😊

The staff is really friendly and accommodating. Ate Irene saw that I had everything I needed and more. She even let me shower even after check out time before I head back to Manila.

Perfect location with a breathtaking view over the rice terraces. Really kind and helpful stuff. It is super easy to organize tours with local guides once you are there. Bathrooms and rooms are basic but clean. The bed was comfy. The food they serve at the terrace is both cheap and super tasty! Thanks for a really great stay!!!

Irene and her team were the perfect welcoming staff team to an Inn… Especially after a 3 days trek and being exhausted. Joyful and generous people. The view is just spectacular- difficult to have a better experience than the Batad View Inn located above the green “Roman-theater-like” rice terraces and it’s village. Very intimate. The food was also very good and would recommend the rice cake for desert made by Irene :) Our room was a dream : two sided windows, palm trees, a whole view on the rice terraces and even more surprises. Thank you Irene for having us! I recommend 100%.

The staff was amazing. Irene was so nice and accommodating. She helped me organize my tour around the terraces. The view was stunning! I highly recommend this place :)
