The owner was a very nice person, she did her best for us to stay confortavel. Her cooking was excelent. It was interesting to stay there and share a piece of the the way of living of the family. Thank you for the chance to experience diferent way of sharing.

When we travel the world, we always look for places where nature, people, and their culture truly inspire us. If your journey takes you to Banaue Homestay, you're in for a treat—mostly thanks to the incredible Beatriz. Honestly, we've rarely met someone with such an infectious energy on our travels! Beatriz didn’t just host us—she orchestrated an amazing itinerary for our four-day stay in Banaue and the surrounding area. Her cooking? Absolutely delicious, especially the curry dishes (we may or may not have considered smuggling some home). The room and bathroom were spotless, the beds wonderfully comfortable, but the real highlight? Her laughter—so contagious it could probably cure a bad mood in seconds. Beatriz, thank you once again for everything! Wishing you all the best—and never stop spreading that incredible joy!

Beatriz and her family receive us very well. The breakfast is good, pancakes and fried rice were very good. The view from the hotel is very nice and it is a pleasure to take the breakfast on the terrace. The hotel is very clean even if it is old. Beatriz organise for you the visit and transportation which facilitate your journey. She takes care of you. I recommend this hotel which is very affordable and offer a real good ratio quality/price.

“More than a Homestay”

Homely hotel more than a homestay!  'Homestay' suggested to us living as part of the family, but the description sounded more like a hotel and restaurant so we booked it, and I'm glad we did. Beatrix, our host, was very welcoming and friendly, always ready to help, and with a smile. Despite all our enquiries, the only transport we could find from Baguio to Banaue was overnight and arrived at 4am. Even though it was so early, Beatrix immediately sent Mark to pick us up, and even offered us a hot drink upon arrival. Thankfully, she knew of a daytime van for our return to Bagiou, and arranged our tickets. The daytime minibus was very comfortable, picked us up from the homestay, and dropped us off at our hotel (Bloomfield near the SM centre) in Baguio. Nothing was too much trouble for her, including arranging laundry and sewing jobs. Fully recommend the two private guided trips Beatrix organised for us to see various UNESCO rice terraces. Each of our two guides were knowledgeable and personable, making each trip very interesting and enjoyable. Even wet weather on the first day didn't spoil our experience. We had breakfast and dinner at the homestay each day because the food was fresh, delicious and sufficient quantity. Superb view of terraces from our shared balcony and from the restaurant. Our room had two doubles beds, a small double shelf, and not much additional floor space, so we used the second bed to leave our open cases on. The shower was warm enough but had no cubicle or curtain so the water needed mopping up afterwards. However, cleaning implements were conveniently located on the balcony, which also had a covered washing line and clothes pegs. Extremely clean everywhere. Highly recommend.  As an earlier reviewer said it is rustic so go with the flow and enjoy Banaue Homestay.

Our stay at Banaue Homestay was a nice way to experience the rice fields! Our hosts were very friendly, easily accommodating our requests by being very responsive and helping us to plan the various excursions in the area. Upon our arrival, we were already immersed in the stunning rice fields set up ready for a very good local breakfast served on the amazing terrace! We absolutely recommend the experience!

It was perfect for our travel needs. Everything you need and the most beautiful views with delicious food! The staff and their hospitality was by far the best thing about this property! They were so helpful and accommodating, friendly, warm, and kind. Taking a genuine interest in us. They offered tours and planned everything for us due to our lack of planning. And we only had two days so they helped us get the most out of our time here, so we didn’t have to worry about anything. They booked our tour for the hot springs and Batad, it was truly breathtaking and we had the most wonderful tour guide, Jeffery. He was fantastic and so knowledgeable, he had a great sense of humour and made us feel so welcome. If I could bring all my friends here I would. Truly breathtaking. Thank you so much Bea! 🤩

very friendly owner, who prepares delicious food. There is a friendly atmosphere, so that it was a pleasure to also talk to other travelers during meal times. The room is clean, and more than adequate for a homestay in this region.

Beatriz was a fantastic host! She was so so warm, caring and accommodating. The place felt like home.

“Great location and hospitable host”

The location was great, in Banaue but away from the busy centre and views were exceptional. It was very noisy in the mornings but that was the wildlife, so no fault of the property. Beatriz was super kind and helpful.

A fabulous homestay. Beatriz was an absolute star and such a lovely character. She organised our treks to the rice terraces and the hot springs which were wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble. The views across the valley from the dining table were stunning. Breakfast was lovely each day. Everywhere was exceptionally clean. We can not recommend Banaue Homestay highly enough.

Most amazing view from our balcony and the host is awesome. She helped organise trips, helped with laundry, taxis….whatever you needed she was there. Best host in our travels so far. Nothing was too much. And what can I say about the food….perfect!
