Great location beside the canal lovely are for walks and right beside local bar Darren and Niamh welcomed us to there house and it was lovely such character and beautiful garden to rear which was so nice breakfast was fabulous from array of fruit salads etc. cereals different breads homemade scones and lovely jams and the lovely fry top notch in the sun room setting looking on to the garden ❤️

“A lovely restful stay.”
The house is very lovely, the back garden is a lovely little haven of colour peace & tranquility. The host was very happy to ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible and offered plenty of assistance and advice local activities. The breakfast was first class. Lovely walk along the river. Great food across the bridge in the local pub. Everybody was super friendly.

“I'd recommend this place to anyone.”
Darren, the owner, was very friendly and great to talk to. We especially liked the wood burner in the living room, which was really comforting after a day walking through wet grass. The location is very quiet at night. The local pubs are also very friendly and welcoming.

Great location, right next to the Grand Canal and with a lovely walk available down to the Shannon River. This is a 'no frills' B&B run by a very helpful young couple - off the beaten tourist track. We could charge our EV overnight for reasonable rates, which was a huge plus. Good local pub serving food.

Loved the location at Shannon Harbour. The property is an interesting building and the hosts obviously appreciate the history and unique character. There's a great pub close by for food and lovely walks along the canal.

“Good place to break a journey in the centre of Ireland.”
Imposing 18th C house overlooking Grand Canal, few km outside Banagher. Quiet and pleasant place to stop for a night, interesting walk along canal in morning. Host was welcoming and check in smooth. Room was warm, comfortable and breakfast excellent. looking out onto well maintained garden.

“A lovely place to relax”
Darren was a lovely host and made us feel at home from the start. Fine breakfast served both mornings. Beds were very comfortable. Good location with lively pub serving food close by. We enjoyed spending time in the cosy common area on our first evening, chatting and playing cards by the woodburner. Very relaxing stay and would readily recommend.
