If you think this is just another homestay, think again. Coconut Tree Home Stay is pure heaven. From the moment you arrive, you’re wrapped in a level of peace and calm that’s hard to describe. It’s unbelievably quiet, so quiet that even the mosquitoes seem to stay away. It’s the kind of place where you truly switch off and breathe. The location is perfect, just a 4–5 minute bike ride to the beach, and yes, they provide bicycles. We loved heading out early for sunrise rides, then coming back for a refreshing swim. Speaking of which, the swimming pool is open 24/7, which is a game changer. Late-night swims under the stars and early morning dips after cycling became part of our daily ritual. The breakfast is fresh, delicious, and made with care, the perfect way to start the day. What really sets this place apart is the service. The staff are like ninjas, you never see them, yet everything is spotless, perfectly arranged, and just effortless. The owners go above and beyond to make you feel at home, offering great tips on where to eat and what to explore nearby. In my 34 years of traveling, I can honestly say this place stands out above so many others. It has Maldives vibes mixed with boutique luxury, yet still feels calm, personal, and authentic. There’s also a lovely bonus an aquarium just a few minutes away, perfect if you’re traveling with kids, and only 50 THB. Will we be back? Oh yes, without a doubt. “Comfortable stay for the family”

The room is spacious for our family, clean and the bed also comfortable. The owner very friendly and kind.

“Well planned, well run, clean, 100% functional + comfortable, yet casual”

- Wi-Fi, aircon and hot water simply worked well - no struggles, no suffering, no complaints, different from other similarly priced resorts (and no TV in room, a first, I certainly don't need TV) - big windows on three sides of room 2 with transparent curtains + non-transparent curtains + mosquito screens - for whatever scenario and aeration you prefer - generous shelves, hangers and cabinets for all my travel gear and toiletries, no living out of an open suitcase - friendly hosts and staff with good understanding for bicyclists and long-time travellers, offering individual services and local advice; good response to requirements messaged in advance - well-sized bathroom with some daylight and natural aeration, with extra mirror light and *without* a noisy fan, hooray - nice little private terrace by the pool with various lights switchable from outside plus various public spaces and interesting garden plants - especially comfortable public deckchairs, the kind I tried to buy in vain in Thailand - mostly quiet, except for occasional trains, but no public loudspeakers, no motorcycle heroes, no roosters, no mad dogs or music-happy neighbours (resort dogs are super chilled, likewise cows and buffaloes across the road, of course other guests may create a racket with their phones) - quick laundry service - no key deposit - electricity remains on when leaving the room - towels in three sizes - generally well planned, well run, clean, 100% functional and comfortable, yet casual

“Great homestay”

Perfect homestay experience. We used it as a stopover from Bangkok to Surat Thani. Perfectly half way. It's a tranquil place, peaceful and the pool was perfect after a long drive. The staff were kind and prepared a nice breakfast before we headed off.

“I am coming back next year!”

I liked everything, it is a coconut oasis in the middle of nowhere so you need transportation but the house is beautiful, the rooms are clean, spacious and the bed... oh the bed was sooo comfy! I slept like a baby :-) The owner is kind and he makes the best bread ever. I will be back next year!

“Pinterest worthy hidden gem”

It's a stunning property- very Pinterest worthy! The pool was amazing. It was very clean and well maintained. Perfect if you want to relax for a few days away from all the noise and buzz. It was nice and quiet with a lot of bird and animal sounds at night - superb experience. And who ever designed the property is an absolute genius. We looooved the design. And the dogs on site :) The owner was very responsive and extremely helpful with our questions. He made sure we were having a great time! Very good host.
