Located by Khwae river and surrounded by mountains, River Hill Side Resort features riverfront and overwater accommodations with a terrace. Free WiFi is provided. The walls are made of paper, and you can hear everything your neighbours are doing. There is no privacy in the Northern rooms as the kayaks are kept in front of your room and the paddles behind so there is no way to enjoy the view without people walking past and looking in your room. Breakfast is supposed to be 8-10, but I was told it was delayed to 9:30. When I went to eat all the food was cold and had clearly been there since 8am. Why did the staff feel the need to lie to me? I have no idea.

Room was floating on the river Kwai,very picturesque, very quiet,close to waterfalls and dam,outstanding piece of countryside, not for every westerner if you expect luxury.

“Amazing stay with super helpful hosts”
The place and surrounding are wonderful! It's really magnificent, quiet place. The hosts are the most sweet and helpful people. They helped us to get to the waterfall and explained how to catch the bus back. The food was delicious, we got our dinner delivered to our room. Fully recommend!

“Nice room at the river”
Nice location at the river with options for swimming or kanoe (they offer for free). Very sweet staff. Great service. My daughter forgot her toiletbag. They found it and send it to our home address in the Netherlands!!! A small supermarket next door and a few eating options. We stopped the bus to kanchanaburi on the road. It's 10min drive from Erawan falls.

“Nice stay by the river”
Resort is very good lacated, by the river, you could use the boats or enjoy the sunset on the platform. There are just a few km to the Erewan falls. Room is tidy, there is water provided. The owner is really nice, he helped us with the motorbike.
