Basically, we were scammed. we had a booking, confirmed through bookings.com, for which we had paid 5130 baht. The booking was further confirmed by the owner a couple of days before we arrived. however, when we arrived, we were told there was no room. We then had to pay an additional 9000 baht for a room with no wifi. My advice is not to stay there, and if you do, make sure you do not pay prior to arriving. it was a very costly mistake for us.
