Staff good, food at restaurant good

The vibe is really chill there overall. When I arrived, the staff handed me the key and let me go up to the room a bit before check-in time. The room is simple, but clean. The air con is cold, some slight noise at night, but it was fine to sleep.

“Location Location Location”

We loved the spacious, spotless bedrooms with a balcony. The bathroom shower had a great pressure and an easy temperature control. Wet room style and found the squeegee gadget provided to help sweep the water into the shower drain an ingenious idea and somehow strangely satisfying to use. We recommend the breakfast egg and bacon rolls. Available all day too. The restaurant food in general was tasty with good sized portions. The stand out USP of Emma's is its location. The beach and sea opposite the guesthouse is a stunning location. Perfect for family beach days. Crystal clear, warm waters, soft sandy bottom. No rocky parts to negotiate underfoot. No sudden changes in sea depth and, whilst we were there, beautiful, gentle waves. A bather's absolute delight! Swim in the sunshine at your convenience knowing that an air con room, refreshing shower and satisfying squeegee session are only a few minutes away. Word to the wise re: using a hose outside the property to rinse the fine sand off your tootsies before going inside. The guesthouse hose is tucked away on the right just before entering the interior dining space. Dont be like us and use the one to the left of the building which is more visible but belongs to the proprietors next door. Oops. As for the location in general. A 7/11 within walking distance with a Grab delivery service being available for when the distance isnt an actual issue but the roasting heat absolutely is. A variety of street food and drinks is available all along the beach road. Also a very good French owned restaurant in the vicinity. My 88 year old Dad can thoroughly recommend the mushroom soup! We booked for 5 nights and were then grateful to be able to extend this with a late checkout at 6pm for a very reasonable price. From the Emma, it is only a 2 to 3 hour drive to Bangkok and our flight home. One last afternoon on the beach and in that delicious sea. Bliss 🙏❤️ We will definitely be booking into the Emma Guesthouse in future.

This hotel is right across the street from the beach. The beds were new and very comfortable. The manager refunded one night when we decided to go home a day earlier and was very accommodating.

“Comfortable stay in a relaxing location”

Good value as compared to other establishments in the area. Lovely being able to walk out the door and watch the surfers. Comfortable if basic room. Breakfast was a choice of American or Thai and adequate to start your day. Free coffee and tea with biscuits are available. The best aspect of this guesthouse is the restaurant excellent choice and quality of Western food. Emma is well situated for exploring Ban Phe and Rayong.

Nice quiet room, with nice aircondition. Really good thaifood. Nice staff who speaks english and knows about the area. Descent cappucino, but remember to order itwith no coco/cinnamon on top🥰
