“Great place to arrive in Phuket”

Super kind hosts. The perfect place to arrive slowly in Phuket and to travel back to Europe. Peter, Oy and Nicki are super nice hosts and the pool is also great with kids. I can just recommend to stay there for a few nights.

The villa has a cozy and tranquil vibe. Peter and Nikki (owners) are sweet and accommodating, they would check up on me and my partner whenever we crossed paths. Oi the chef cooks a delicious breakfast, I strongly recommend their pancakes and their homemade sour dough! I would definitely go again when the opportunity arise

“Perfect”

The Villa offers the peace and quiet you might think is impossible to find in Phuket. The rooms are immaculate, beds super comfortable, great AC, and incredible pool / bar area. The host was ace and so welcoming. He gave us a moped to travel to a restaurant and some strong recommendations for local food. The included breakfast was the best I’ve had during my 3 weeks in thailand. My partner is Coeliac / Gluten free and the chef made special pancakes just for her. The place is super close to the airport and pier and a perfect place to stay for any transfers or even for a longer quieter period of rest.

We received a warm welcome at Villa Tha Maphrao. Everyone (Peter, Oi, Nikki and Nikki's husband) was very friendly. The room was very clean, very comfortable and the shower worked really well. Fabulous swimming pool and a delicious breakfast. Good location - in a quiet area in the north of Phuket, 15-20 min drive to some lovely beaches, and close to the airport. It was a perfect end to our 5 week trip in Thailand.

Lovely hosts, can’t do enough for you. Breakfasts are tailored to your tastes. We had some very enjoyable evenings enjoying drinks with the hosts and other guests. “Peaceful paradise!”

Exceptional villa!!! I absolutely recommend that you choose to stay here. Situated in a very tranquil area, the property sits in a beautifully landscaped garden. We booked to stay for 4 nts but added an extra 2 on top. The contemporary villa is of a very high standard. Very clean and tidy. You step out of your room and there is the gorgeous pool. Peter & Oi are above & beyond hosts, making you feel very much at home and cannot help you enough. Breakfast was amazing…… Oi’s pancakes are sublime ♥️. We even hired 2 of their motorbikes to get around… which is a must!!! Highly recommend you book your stay here….. you will not be disappointed!!!!

If you are seeking peaceful and cozy accomodation we can definitely recommend Villa Tha Maphrao. On top it comes with bonus in form of family-like atmosphere. If you are looking for some adventure... Just ask Peter he can rent you bike and recomend you some nice places to visit. You can also look forward to delicious breakfast by masterchef Oi.

Everything was great!The room was perfectly clean and spacious, the bed was very comfortable. Just one step and you are at the swimming pool. The breakfast was absolutely delicious (best pancakes I have ever eaten!). The owner was very careful and attentive.

“Wonderful”

Everything, Peter and Oi were amazing, Peter could not have been more attentive or generous with his time, he seemed to anticipate your every need before you knew you had one, he was solicitous without ever being over bearing. The rooms were lovely, kept spotlessly clean, and all opened straight out to the pool area, which was also maintained to a very high standard. Oi made a cooked breakfast every day, her pancakes were soo good I always had extra with everything 😋.. I had to swim more lengths to work them off..worth it. Overall, we had an exceptional stay and will definitely be coming back.

This place is a piece of paradise on Earth. Everything is perfect. Beautiful facilities and amenities, delicious breakfast and most importantly, Peter and Oli make sure you are well taken care of. We will be back. Thank you for everything!

“Fantastic VTM”

Very welcoming host (Peter) super clean property throughout and very comfortable. Fantastic breakfast and great swimming pool. We only stayed 1 night but wish we could have stayed more. When we come back to Phuket, VTM will be our go-to home from home booking.

This place far exceeded our expectations. Peter was very friendly and we felt likespecial guests. We went to a fantastic local seafood resturant for lunch and dinner was also fantastic at a recommended place. The pool is amazing and everything is perfect. Breakfast was superb ! Cannot recommend highly enough for travellers that want to visit a peaceful authentic part of Phuket.

“Oasis of peace and tranquility”

We booked two nights at the Villa Tha Maphrao either end of our Thailand holiday and would happily have stayed longer. From the pick up at the airport to arrival at the oasis of calm and tranquility that is the Villa Tha Maphrao everything is geared towards the comfort and relaxation of the guests. We chose VTM due to its proximity to the airport but were soon to realise it is so much more. Peter and his wife Oi are two of the warmest hosts you could imagine. Their raison d'etre is ensuring their guests feel at home and we certainly did. Our stay at the beginning of the holiday provided us with a welcome opportunity to rest and recoup after a long flight, similarly at the end of our holiday we returned and enjoyed our last couple of nights relaxing before our early flight home. Peter is a knowledgeable and warm host who gets the balance just right - he goes out of his way to meet the needs of his guests but in a subtle way so you do not feel overwhelmed and your privacy is maintained. One evening Peter dropped us off at a fabulous local fish restaurant, the food was superb and excellent price point. We also ate at a traditional Thai beach restaurant that we would never have found ourselves. Oi is quite possibly the sweetest host you will ever meet, she goes out of her way to ensure you have everything you need and cooks fabulous Thai food and amazing breakfasts including platters of fruit, home made yoghurt, coconut pancakes and freshly baked cakes and banana bread. Oi is always on the go, working tirelessly to ensure that everywhere is spotlessly clean for her guests, our rooms were the cleanest of anywhere we stayed in Thailand with crisp white bed linemen changed daily. The pool is just perfect - clean and ideal temperature for cooling dips and nighttime swims under the stars.
