Great place to stop on the loop, hammock in front of the mountain and tobacco plantation. Walking distance from the cave and host were friendly.

“Stayed here several times - always amazing”

Ever since I first visited Kong Lor 10 years ago, I have been back there several times, and have always stayed at the Eco Lodge. The location is superb- in the middle of tobacco fields, wonderful views of karst hills, very close to the village, and about 15 minutes walk to the cave. It is also where the transport to vientiane or thakhek starts. The family who run the place are lovely, the onsite restaurant does decent enough food , and the bungalows are excellent in every respect. A slight criticism is lack of handrails on the steps, and some of the approach ways to the bungalows are slightly hazardous to oldies like me. I'm already looking forward to my next visit, and will again choose Eco Lodge.

“A dream night”

Amazing. The view on the tobacco field, and the mountains. The little veranda outside with the amaca it’s simply amazing! The room is perfect for 2 people, with all the space and confront. The staff is super helpful and kind. The bed is really comfortable

“peaceful and beautiful village near Konglor cave”

quiet, beautiful spot near the village. about 1 km walk to the cave. beds comfortable and have mosquito nets. loved the wee balcony with hammock. no free breakfast, but place has a small restaurant. a few other restaurants nearby. They have a firepit to sit by with a beer at night. bus from vientiane parks here overnight, and can catch a songtaew to Thakek at 6:30.

“Excellent Views and Location”

The location and the view off of the small back deck was amazing. This place is all about the views and the staff who were wonderful.

We had an amazing stay in this guesthouse!!! The bungalows are so clean, comfortable, and modern. The view from the balcony is simply stunning. It was very nice to relax in the hammock. Very well located to visit the cave!

Location, staff and food - cooked to order - were excellent. Room was simple and good value, had all we needed out in Konglor. It’s worth knowing EcoLodge 1 is being refurbished & the stay is at Eco Lodge 2.

We loved our stay at Konglor Ecolodge! The view from our room was incredible, so so beautiful. We were shocked when we arrived & seen it. I would recommend arriving before sunset so you can see the view of the mountains & grab dinner here. The room has everything you need, including chairs & a hammock out the back balcony to rest on. The bed is so comfy, one of our best sleeps! The shower is great with a hot or cold setting. They make a fire pit for everyone to sit around at night with pretty lights hanging above it. The location is ideal (only ~1km). The Konglor Cave opened at 8am & we were able to get a tasty breakfast here before we went. Thank you for our stay😊

“Nice two nights stay”

The position. I enjoy my stay in the balcony. Simply room but everything you need. The restorant is a plus on this guesthouse and very close to the cave.

It was perfect, room was big enough, bed was really confortable and bathroom was great too with hot water !
