Central location: right in the heart of Vientiane, close to lots of restaurants. Safety/Security: Entry to female dorm is access card controlled. Large lockers available to store your luggage. Layout of Dorm: Very spacious dorms, very well planned. The female dorms come with attached toilets/showers and an area to sit, relax so you don't have to leave the space. Plenty of space to pack your bag and the bed has a spacious side storage area to keep your stuff. Clean, comfortable beds: Beds were very cosy with crisp clean sheets laundered to hotel standards. The airconditioning was on 24/7 and kept the room cool enough to get an excellent nights sleep, unlike some dorms where you suffocate and die of heat stroke behind privacy curtains. Good privacy curtains as well that fully block light from outside. I slept so well. Respectful guests/quiet hostel environment: Everyone in the dorms followed to the rules and kept very quiet. It was perfect for me. Kitchen/communal space: very cosy, with a little kitchenette, fridge, microwave, hot and cold water for refills. Shower gel/shampoo provided for free. Value for money: Incredible facilities for a standard hostel price.

This was my second visit to Lafami so obviously it was a very enjoyable & satisfactory stay first time round I give more details in the review of my first visit .. But nothings changed , still a cool little place in the heart of the Happenings ... Njoy .. LOVE LAO ...

“A Great little Hostel down a side street but still in the heart of this amazing vibrant city”

For me personally , my stay at Lafami was a very pleasant & enjoyable experience , I initially only booked to stay a couple of nights but decided to extend a week because the accommodation is relatively new , ideally located to all amenities & ticked all the boxes for my needs .. I struggle with going upstairs but there is an excellent Dorm situated on the ground floor which was the first advantage , I was given a bottom bed which had good privacy curtains , a cool light & socket , it was also located next to the shower room which was very helpful too ,, the shower room itself is modern & spacious with two separate toilet & shower cubicles & two wash hand basins , the whole place was always kept spotlessly clean & nice plug in air fresheners made the room smell nice , the staff were always available & helpful & all this at a reasonable price per night , I would definitely stay @ Lafami the next time im in Vientiane & recommend anyone else do so too ...

The hostel was very clean and some of the nicest dorms we’d stayed in, definitely great value for money considering how nice the rooms and facilities were!

“Perfect New Hostel in Vientiane for Solo Travelers”

Perfect hostel for solo travelers. Great location at a reasonable price. Everything was clean. The bed and blanket is so comfy. The shared bathroom has separate toilets and shower with free body wash and shampoo. I rented a towel for LAK 20,000. They have a place for your luggage storage near your bed so there are no obstructions on the floor.

The service was exceptional, and the staff members were incredibly friendly. I really enjoyed my stay!

Such a clean and spacious hostel

Clean, modern facilities. Very spacious hostel rooms with sufficient bathroom and shower rooms. Love that the shower is separate from the toilet, which isn’t common in SE Asia. The communal area with kitchen space is also very appreciated, where you can make coffee/tea and warm up food and store in the fridge. LOVED this hostel.
