Overview
Situated in a former government building, Nakai Resort offers accommodations in Ban Oudomsouk Village in the Nakai district of Khammouan Province. About an hour drive from Thakhek, the property offers an on-site restaurant, a karaoke room, a meeting room with modern audio facilities and a large open space for practicing yoga. Free WiFi is available in all areas. All rooms include air conditioning, a TV and a minibar. Selected rooms feature a private balcony overlooking views of the garden. The reception desk is open around the clock and free parking is provided.There are Nam Theun river and lake just behind the property, waterfalls and caves to explore in the surrounding area. We also organize fishing, hill tribe trekking and sunset boat tours. The on-site restaurant serves a range of international, Thai and local Laotian cuisines.

“Amazing building.”
Very Regal. Room with balcony was incredible. Huge room, comfy bed and a fridge. Area to park motorbikes securely. Staff were not very friendly, but the other guests made up for it. A bit out of town.

“A perfect stay”
- cozy shared area with a great falò to chat and get heat - restaurant really good, with tasty food options. Available both for dinner and breakfast - the dormitory is the best ever seen: huge, with a lot ís space, beds are super comfortable and they provide you a bath kit with all what can be needed: AMAZING - the staff was really super helpful and kind - free drinkable water available

“Good value, good facilities and lovely family that owns/runs the place”
The complex has a great look and the family that runs the place are lovely, the dorm building had good quality beds and even little complementary toiletries like in a western hotel. The price was great and you can pay for room by card. They also have an onsight open air restaurant.

“Nice place, quiet neighbourhood.”
Located in a quiet place. The room was huge and comfortable. Unfortunately, Wi-Fi wasn't available when I stayed there. A bit far from everything, but you still can find shops around it after a little walk or motorbike ride. I guess most of the people will arrive here on a motorbike or in a car!

“It’s good value for money”
If you are looking for an overnight stop on the Thakek loop this is the place for you. The room we had was spacious, clean and with AC. The shower was hot and it worked well for us for a nights stay. We enjoyed a banana pancake for breakfast which kept us going nearly most of the day! We’d say this was good value for money.

“Hot pressurised showers clean spacious comfy rooms good food perfect first or last night stop on loop”
Great place to stop on night one. Friendly great English clean spacious rooms hot showers with great pressure and tasty well priced restaurant that serves food until 10pm all in one place. Also has a boule pitch by the restaurant. Gives towels and toilet rolls unlike other pit stops on loop. Would defo recommend a stop here
