They had bikes free to take round the island .

We chose this hotel, even though it is a bit far from the city center, because the description mentioned a restaurant on site, which was an important point for us. However, when we arrived, the owner told us that the restaurant would be closed for our entire stay, and we wish we had been informed in advance. The bikes available were also in very poor condition and not really usable. Finally, the owner appeared to be heavily intoxicated from morning to evening, which made his behavior uncomfortable and difficult to understand. Overall, we were disappointed with our experience.

The value for money is excellent. Cheap and does the job if that’s what you’re looking for.

The location is amazing, although a bit of a trek from the boat pier, restaurants, etc. A great experience even so. The riverfront terrace is stunning at night and in the early morning.

Free use of poorly maintained bikes. Riverside location.

Very calm place to rest. Moskito nets. Bicycles and restaurant available.

At the end of the road where the accommodations are, so very few people around. Strangely, the cabins face inland rather than towards the river but the outlook from the restaurant was pleasant

I booked as it said riverside guesthouse. But the hammock and veranda was facing the road! The river was behind the building. Why would you build like that? Anyway it completely spoilt my stay.

A nice quiet location away from the main tourist areas, but still handy for the main drag on Don Khon. Restaurant at the guesthouse also has a good range of meals. Useful having bike hire available too.

Overall it was good, location-wise and the rooms are good enough

“Lovely host, quite place”

We stayed here for almost one week and really enjoyed this quite and green place next to the river. The guesthouse offers all basic facilities, the room was clean and you will have your one terrace. The owner was always smiling, helped us with bookings and even drove us to our next stay for free. We especially liked that the area around the bungalows is green and with many plants. Only noted that this guesthouse is located at Don Khone (the smaller of the two islands) so the next Atm is a bit far, but you can rent bikes at the guesthouse. Restaurants and small shops are within walking distance.

We spent the best time in Asia so far thanks to Thone and his family. It was his brother's birthday and they invited us and treated us like we were family. The place is quiet and you can rent bicycles. And the food is really good and cheap. Thone, my friend, if you read this, thank you again for everything ! To you and your family. I hope we will meet again and sing together one more time ! :)

everything great! such a sweet setting, very quiet and chilled vibes. staff were great!

The guesthouse has everything we were looking for to relax a couple of days after few weeks of treks. Comfy bed, clean room and bathroom, hot water (not really needed cos it was very hot weather). The food is also very tasty with fair prices. Maybe the views are not the most impressive but still sunrise is very nice and you also have a nice view from the restaurant where you can chill. Also in a more wet season views of the rice fields can be wonderful. It is about 15/20 mins nice walk from the don det bridge but it was not a problem for us. Also good price for transportation tickets to continue your trip.
