The rooms are beautiful and have everything you need. Waking up and seeing elephants who look so happy, can’t get a better view than that. All the staff were accommodating and we ate at both their restaurants and the food was great. What they are doing for animals is incredible and I would highly recommend staying and supporting what they are doing.

Staff were so friendly and helpful. Our pool villa was fantastic and we were lucky enough to have elephants walking closely by. Waking up to the dawn chorus of the gibbons and birds was spectacular. We did not want to leave.

Where to start, what an amazing place. We hadn't researched it very much and assumed it was predominantly an elephant sanctuary but it's so much more. They have (currently) over 900 rescued animals covering (if I remember correctly) 36 species. The elephants are of course amazing and as we had selected a pool bungalow we could watch some of the elephants and a family of gibbons from our terrace / pool which never got old. It is possible to go on a tour of the WFFT facilities which is an absolute must, the morning does involve quite a bit of walking but it is very much worth it with our tour guide knowledgeable and passionate about the animals. The staff were also friendly superb, we asked them about a couple of things we'd like to do and they arranged the trips to suit us (these were bespoke trips, one of which we had a driver for the day) and we really got the feeling nothing was too much trouble. My compliments goes out to Edwin (the founder) who has done an amazing job of combining a sanctuary and a holiday place.

“Fabulous , relaxing , inspiring , stay at an amazing wildlife supporting lodge”

Amazing and unique location on the edge of the Wildlife Friends Foundation Thailand reserve . Very comfortable room with large balcony overlooking the reserve . Stayed in a forest room about 3 mins golf buggy ride ( which you ring for and the staff are excellent at coming when requested , if you don’t want to walk ) to the main lodge , bar , pool and restaurant . There are also rooms above the restaurant and by the pool . Watched elephants from the balcony , lots of different birds and tortoises underneath . You can hear the gibbons calling each other too which is pretty cool . Watching the wildlife ( gibbons, elephants , monitor lizard, birds ) from the restaurant , bar and pool is just fabulous . A definite must do is a day tour of the reserve which provides an understanding of the aims and amazing, inspiring work of the Foundation ( staying in the lodge also helps support the Foundation ) and a tour of the rescued animals / birds , many of which cannot be released back into the wild , but which are provided with a much better life than they have known previously . If you love nature and wildlife staying here is a must do or even if you just want a relaxing , special break away from bustling towns or the beach this is the place to come . The food was excellent with an extensive menu , and the staff were all very helpful , polite and efficient . I must say a particular thank you to the proprietor who personally arranged a last minute private tour to the amazing Kaeng Krachan national park .We would love to stay here again .

This place is beyond incredible. The work they are doing is astounding. I am sad we only stayed 1 night as it was so relaxing, the staff were great and the food was yummy! 100% Recommend doing the full day tour along with your stay (and do it on your check in day so you can chill in the pool after!) It's so great to see all the animals and understand their future plans.

Truly magical experience - elephants are so close! Most ethical elephatns place in Thailand. Good breafast and lunch-plenty of veg options + oat milka for the coffee.

We appreciate the bungalow , wide, with large windows on the garden/ forest where you can see the elephants, gibbons etc. All the things are of best quality, bed, linen, towels. Also the restaurant is accurate and very good quality. The staff is very professional and kind. We suggest the full day tour in the center , we could realize the real situation of animals abused for tourists or abandoned when grown . The center is a new way of considering animals. An effective way of loving them by respecting

“Most memorable stay, would highly recommend”

I stayed two nights with my daughter. We loved everything about the Phants lodge! Communication was very smooth, they organised us a pick-up for us and upon arrival we were upgraded to a beautiful bungalow by the pool. We could see the elephants directly from our room! Breakfast was great and varied. Everyone was very helpful and so welcoming. It was lovely waking up to the sounds of the birds in the morning.

We loved our stay at I love phants lodge. Apart from the amazing conservation work done with the elephants, it was a very special stay. Dinner was great, the breakfast delicious and our bungalow was beautiful. Although we didn’t join the tour, we appreciated being able to check out at 11am and watch the elephants roam, they even walked past our bungalow.

It was an amazing experience to arrive at the lodge and be met with the beautiful view at the restaurant. Also so nice to meet Edwin there, who is behind everything at the lodge and a hero when it comes to saving animals from a life of abuse. We stayed 2 nights and definitely hope to be back. Its wonderful to see places like this and for the animals to be treated so well. The room was so comfortable and the tour we did so informative. We loved it. Thank you!

The view from our pool lodge was amazing, my wife was so excited when the elephants came to us . The lodge its self was fantastic, it had everything we needed.
