“Relaxing stay at Elephant View Camp”

Enjoyed a wonderful stay at Elephant View Camp - an absolute highlight during my Thailand trip. The tent was large and very comfortable, and the aircon kept it cool inside. The pool was lovely and the water was nice and cold for swimming. Breakfast was huge and fresh, and the dinner options were great. I did the full day tour at WFFT (duscounted as part of my accommodation) which was really enjoyable and well worth it.

“Amazing”

Just book. What a place. We slept in a tent with private pool. Waking up with elephants. Did the tour. Great place the way they live for the animals. Staff super friendly. Great service, great foot. They were really proud of the place. Tent comfortable, nice and clean. Super bed, shower, airco. Just book.

“Fantastic place”

We loved everything, the location, the view, the tent, the owners, the chance to see elephants during day and night, the food was great and the staff was lovely. Just go, don’t hesitate.

“Highly recommended!”

It was literally all we dreamed of. Amazing hosts, amazing nature, amazing accomodation, amazing food. The only downside is that we only stayed 1 night after the Wttf tour (which we got a discount for when staying in this accomodation). Would come back any time and recommend to others!

“Perfect”

The accommodation is perfect to experience the elephants in a natural way. The bed is so comfortable and the bathroom hotel standard - as long as you adhere to guidelines to avoid additional guests! Best is knowledgeable and friendly with a sense of humour and he goes that extra mile to make your experience special. The lady cooking and serving does it all with a smile and the food is amazing.

Saw the amazing elephants in a natural safe habitat. The glamping was brilliant, lovely tents spacious, aircon . Fridge lovely shower. The staff were great "Best: was the guys name he and all the other staff made it a wonderful 2 night's stay. The breakfast was excellent and the meals in the evening were exceptional. Thanks to everyone for a truly amazing experience. Great memories

“Amazing Stay”

Wonderful! We had a wonderful stay at Elephant View Camp in Phetchaburi, situated about three hours from Bangkok it is equally accessible from Chumphon via Hua Hin. The camp itself is East facing and the sunrise over the nearby mountain range is beautiful. Waking up to to the valley coming to life whilst listening to Gibbons call from their nearby island is something we will always remember. Also sitting by our tent pool after dark watching elephants passing quietly by, in the low light they appeared as huge silhouettes. The camp itself sits next to the inspiring Wildlife Friends Foundation which rescues and rehabilitates a great many animals (well worth a pre booked visit). The camp restaurant is excellent, delicious Thai food, cold beer and crisp wine. Many thanks to Karen, Best and all the wonderful staff whose warmth made us feel so welcome.

What a wonderful experience we have had at the Elephant View Camp. The accomodation was excellent. The staff were very tentative and informative. The food in the restaurant was also really good, however the highlight for us was the beautiful elephants. Thank you so much for an amazing stay.

“One of the most magical of holidays”

Location is unique, Best and his staff are amazing . Tents so comfortable and having the pool for each tent is great. After a day of exploring the Friends wildlife Trust rescue Centre, spending a night at the camp finishes off a perfect day There is a children’s playground Food is excellent and so reasonable 4500 baht for seven of us The deep fried papaya was lovely starter The elephants will visit in the morning sometimes if you are lucky. We saw one this year but last year we had 9 visit us Just sitting outside the tent listening to the sounds of the animals in the night is magical Cannot recommend it enough

“Was fantastic”

The staff and owners are fantastic and very accommodating, looked after us during our stay and very Friendly. Had good recommendations for other locations as well. The food was a small menu at dinner time but was outstanding, along side the breakfast which on the second morning they adapted to our request.

Property was stunning, exactly how it was advertised, I think the pictures didn’t do it justice. The elephants were just magical waking up with them around.

The glamping tents were lovely everything upon arrival was spotlessly clean and service received from all staff was great.

Elephant View Camp is a great little glamping site. It is run by a very nice couple, who have made this a great project. The tent is immaculately clean? tastefully decorated and super comfortable. The restaurant serves a very nice breakfast and the the dinners we had were outstanding! Great place to stay for 1, 2 or even multiple nights. It is next door to the Wildlife Friends Foundation Thailand, which definitely merits a visit (you get a discount if you stay here)! Sitting by your own pool, looking at the fireflies and elephants (yes, they do also really pass by your tent) is highly relaxing.

“Amazing!”

We loved everything. The staff are amazing, so attentive & helpful. The accommodation (I don’t want to call it a tent 😊) was superb. So clean & spacious with your own pool. I was slightly worried about the bugs, but the ‘tents’ are fabulous & very secure. The breakfast & restaurant were spotless & the food very good & not overpriced. We’ve visited many places in Thailand, but this is up there with the most memorable. I’d recommend a 2 day stay, to take it all in & fully relax.

It’s a really lovely location. The lodges are really great. The pool perfect. I would recommend! Elephants came close up in the morning and the trip to the rescue centre was a good day.

“A unique experience- a must do”

Excellent layout of tents, very private, spacious aircon with pool. Restaurant caters for dinner lunch breakfast as needed all quality. Elephants free roam and came past our camp several times but nothing is orchestrated so enjoy the natural atmosphere gibbons wake up call in the morning. Staff are attentive and a pleasure to be around. Day tour at sanctuary a must do.
