“Good location”

This hotel is fine for a night before the slow boat or gibbon experience but it is not a 10/10 Unfortunately there was a millipede in my room No issues otherwise Helpful staff who gave me a lift to the slow boat start point - can buy slow boat tickets from staff Good location on the Main Street

Perfect place to stop during the slow boat, very simple room but no problems! Good value for money, short walk to everything and staff were nice They open the cafe early as well to make sandwiches and pastries to take on slow boat!

The manager lady was very helpful and lovely! She helped us with getting new sim cards, to organise a minivan for us to Luang Prabang. As we had to leave early in the morning we didnt have time for the breakfast that was included, she offered to make sandwiches for us for the trip! She was very kind, full of smiley. She made our stay special, big thank you for her:)

“Convenient slow boat arrangement and great value stay”

We enjoyed our one-night stay at the hotel. They organised the slow boat for us with good seats (although seat numbers only really matter if you arrive early). We had both dinner and breakfast there, and both were very good and affordable. Breakfast was included in the stay. We also ordered omelettes with rice to take on the boat, which were great and very cheap (35,000 kip). The staff were very kind, and the lady in charge speaks good English. The slow boat to Luang Prabang currently costs around 600,000 kip per person, and the hotel charges 680,000 kip including organisation and the morning transfer to the pier, which we found very convenient.

Pretty basic but ok for one night

Owner was nice and friendly, with good English. She booked us really good seats for the slow boat and breakfast was delicious! Great value for money. Loved watching the sunset from the verandah.

It was close to the slow boat port

The owner is so nice and helpful for everything. The room was very quiet and well equipped. Extra blanket available if needed. The view from the terrace facing the river is just beautiful. They also have a small restaurant so it's possible to dine there. Also available tickets to Luang Prabang or to Chiang Rai/Chiang Mai by van. Door to door to Chiang Rai was only 2 hours

“One night Short stay Convenient”

“Basic accommodation, dirty bathroom and sheets”

We were given a terrible room on the lower floor that was cold and dark and smelled like mold. We asked for another one and they gave us one that looked like the picture instantly. There was breakfast in the morning, which was basic but good. The lady at the “reception” was nice :) There is no AC but we didn’t need it as the room was cold anyways.

Good location to stay 1 night if you go to either gibbon experience, slow boat or crossing the border. Rooms are old and not really maintained but owners were friendly and flexible (in breakfast adjustments), so really all was ok for the price. This is a very simple accommodation (as well as its breakfast), so you get what you pay for.

Good location, all you need with good breakfast included, they sell sim cards and slow boat to Luang Prabeng with shuttle to the pier included. Staff was always around and helpfull. Room was basic but cheap.
