Nice private room with beautiful river views. Really comfortable bed. Everything nice and clean. The owner seemed a bit confused but was nice. He even arranged the slow boat tour for us.

We arrived very late but because we had informed them before we found the key of the room at the reception. There is no Manilath Guesthouse. It’s the Sabaidee guesthouse. That is quite confusing

“Very good”
It was nice. Hotel stuff was super lovely and helpful. The owner always tried to help us. He booked the slow boat for us. Room was specious and water force in the shower was good.

Nothing. When we got there we were told this guesthouse does not exist anymore and neither did our booking!!

“A room with a view”
We stayed in a big, spacious room with a great view on the city / stairs to the temple and on the river from the other side. The room and bathroom looked much better than the entrance hall.

“Great value for money, what you would expect for £9/night.”
Good value for money, staff were super helpful and informative. We used this as a cheap stop over to catch the bus the next day, wouldn’t recommend for any longer stay.

Located right on the main road, close to everything. Friendly and accommodating hosts (father & son). Nice rooftop are for sunset or morning coffee. Simple room, but a big bed and warm shower. Fine for one or two nights

perfect location just in the border town of Laos perfect for staying a night and getting the slow boat the next day - lovely little restaurants near by and slow boat to Luang Prabang easily booked for cheap from here
