The location ist very good for sunset and close to the ferry but although quite. The rooms are nice and the balcony with the hammock too.

Cannot fault this place! Room was so lovely with an amazing view of the sunset from the balcony. The family that run it are so kind and helpful, they easily extended my booking and also booked my onward travel. Also a perfect location on the island - couldn’t recommend enough

I was upgraded to a room with balcony. River view for two nites. As standard room was occupied. I booked a third nite in same room. It was peaceful and hammock. Was an added bonus. The hotel booked me on a boat and bus forward to Pakse. So I had nothing to do except enjoy my stay. The sheets were soft. The fridge and bottle water provided were a bonus as was the kettle as I had a few hear al tbags.

We had a lovely stay at the Souksan sunset guesthouse. We had a great view facing the sunset and it was so unbelievably beautiful. The room had great air conditioning which was so important as Don Det is so hot. The owners were so friendly and welcoming. The guesthouse is literally at the pier so we didn’t have to walk far from the boat. You can rent bikes to cycle for a very cheap price from the guesthouse.
