Quiet, peaceful, pretty spot to relax from the hustle of the trip/travel. Basic bungalow. Only improvement would be a better bed/bedding because the Mattress is on the floor. Great host. Good vibes everywhere.

“Incredible, homely and welcoming.”
This place is heaven on earth. Ye is the kindest host who is clearly loved by everyone who stays. When we arrived we have just started the MHS loop and we’re pretty surprised by how cold we felt, Ye got us settled by a beautiful campfire with the best hot chocolate I’ve ever tasted and then cooked us some absolutely delicious curries. We had a lovely little cabin with an incredible view and a comfy bed. I headed to breakfast and Ye offered me a local rice soup which was delicious, he then shared a dessert that some friends had given him and gave us so warm sourdough bread which was delicious. I was genuinely so sad to leave this beautiful place and if I’m ever in the area again I won’t hesitate to come back! Thank you so much Ye.

Ok to be fair here, you are booking a stay in a remote village, where life has a unique rhythm. Really, nice to sit round the camp fire and chat and enjoy some evening warmth. The dinner that So prepared was delicious and authentic Thai cuisine . Le was extremely personable and chatty and you kinda felt that he was on his own with that.loved hearing the loud haler system broadcasting to the village at 06.55 am it was cute and we are early people anyway. There is much evidence of careful and considerate planting here.

My stay was awesome, even if i had a medical emergency. The area ist beautiful, all in the nature. As i had an medical emergency and the local hospital was closed already, the host called someone working there to get me helped. Everyone involved was super polite and helping. The homestay is beautiful and so are the people there. If you are searching for something special and want to get in touch with the nature and also some locals, book this. The nights get cold thoug, but the beds are warm and i found myself rested in the morning.

At first my stay here was only an emergency solution, I got caught in the rain on my bike and needed shelter. I ended up staying two nights however, because this place had it all: cozy bungalows with comfy big beds, the sound of nature to help you fall asleep, and most importantly; the best host you can imagine. Ye and his wife did everything to make my stay unforgettable: they are great conversationalists, great chefs, very warm and kind people, and they clearly put love into the place. Bonus: you get to pet their cute dog and try their homegrown coffee and rice.

“Lovely homestay run by Karen people”
A friendly local place with nice vibes! We stayed in a simple but nice bamboo hut (I really loved the beautiful paintings on all of the buildings) and the nice common area, a great place to chill. It looks like this place will only get better as they develop it - the owner is really lovely and explained how they want to focus on conservation of the area and try to bring back some local wildlife too! So it feels great to support their mission - we will be back if we’re staying in the Doi Inthanon area again!

Beautiful place, it has a great charm I extended my stay. Amazing hosts and great coffee. I would have stayed longer if the rooms where a bit more comfortable (less humid). Loved the omelette in the morning. Very tasty

“Beautiful countryside stay”
Check-in is very accessible at the open-air cafe looking out over the fields. We stayed in an airy maisonette set away from the road down a gravel drive by the pond. The room was large, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom simple but large and clean. We appreciated the inclusion of a setup mosquito net — the ceilings are so high here we would have struggled to hang our own! Our hosts were excellent, very chatty and helpful, and the included breakfast up at the cafe was particularly good. My partner enjoyed the coffee a lot. WiFi was also strong and parking was simple. We found the property well-placed for riding the Jesus Trail, visiting the huge Buddha up the road, and finding dinner — there are several good local options.

“Lovely”
Nongtao is a special place! The host is so friendly, the accommodations have everything you need. Easy to get to Doi Inthanon, but personally I loved spending time in Ban Nong Tao more than the park. The cutest puppy lives on the farm, and he guided me around town every day! Absolutely beautiful to eat breakfast in the morning and chat with likeminded folks, and to meet the host's friends.
