“Security issues”

As a solo female traveller I would not recommend this hostel. Though handy for those checking in late due to flights, as there is no member of staff there late at night, these late guests are then (probably unknowingly) responsible for the security after they unlock the front door. There is no lock on the dorm door and so, as someone had left the front door wide open, a man (potentially a guest from the previous night) walked right in from the street at 1am, turned on the light, opened the curtain to my bed and started shouting. Obviously pretty terrifying and made us feel incredibly unsafe. Booking.com said they’d look into it but nothing happened.

I didn't receive the instructions to do a self check in. No toilet paper.

Perfect option if you want a little rest in a hostel near the airport. The check-in process was well-explained and straight forward and the bed was comfy: that's exactly what I was looking for

“Great overnight sleep”

Absolute gem for what it is worth. I needed a 4-5 hours emergency sleep to catch the next day 06:30 am flight from Phuket airport and the hostel was a life saver. Clean, comfortable enough, digital keys to enter the room and lockers inside as well.

We informed the property in advance that we would arrive at 1:00 AM; we arrived around 2:00 AM. The check-in was self-service with keys collected from lockboxes. Unfortunately, the system was very confusing. All the keys looked identical and all lockboxes used the same code. The only difference was the name of the city on the label. We took the key assigned to us and went to our room, only to find that it was already occupied. It took us almost an hour to figure out that the other guests had taken the wrong room. This caused unnecessary stress and a significant waste of time in the middle of the night. The key management system definitely needs improvement to avoid such situations in the future.

“Good bang for your buck”

Perfect for what it is - an overnight stay for an early flight the next morning. Facilities are good, locks, digital everything, comfortable bed and clean linen with a towel provided. Spacious enough for me to repack my backpack, and easy enough to walk to the airport in the early morning (even with a lot of luggage!)
