“Quiet, private, gorgeous setting right on "our own" beach - what more could anyone ask for??”

Absolutely beautiful beachside location was a delight to wake up to & enjoy our virtually private stretch of golden sand! Our host Sue was so lovely & accommodating. Due to proximity of traffic (which was not a problem) she offered to cancel our booking right up to the night before to ensure we were happy - very thoughtful! Also the use of her kayak was appreciated.

As others have said, really nice place, especially if you have the sea view room, lovely quiet beach with some cool relaxing bars and restaurants a short stroll away. It's well located between the touristy bit on the East and sunset side on the West - best to have a scooter though. Shops nearby, very sweet host - easy life :) Would love to go back.

“Charming beachfront bungalow”

This humble, cute little seaside bungalow was as described. The owner was this loveliest auntie Su (?) who was warm and welcoming. She let us check in early because our flight arrived earlier in the day. We chose one of 2 rooms closest to the beach and it was amazing to see the sea right outside your door. It is more humble vs. extremely fancy, it was very clean, with good AC and very quiet. It is a bit further out from the more popular sights but that's exactly what we wanted. Just us and the beach and some great food nearby (Michelin-recommend seafood place and lovely local breakfast curry place within 3 mins). It was our favourite stay between all our destinations in Thailan, including Chiang Mai and Bangkok. Khop Khun 🙏🏽

“HIGHLY RECOMMENDED”

Everything about this place is 10/10. Caretaker Su is such a friendly person, she guided us for moving around within Sumai, helped us in renting a bike at good price and always there to help you out with anything. Place was in such a peaceful part of the island away from all the hustle and you get almost private beach experience at much lower price. Moreover the sunset at this beach is just breathtaking.

Sue was lovely, couldn’t fault her at all very helpful and kind, rooms are awesome from the aircon to bathroom , view from the seafront room is amazing. Only about 400m walk if that from some really nice restaurants/7-11. Little private beach is so peaceful.

Lovely location, exceptionally clean rooms just steps from a beautiful beach, and within a short walk to some excellent restaurants (Luna’s especially). The host Su is very friendly , always has a smile ,and will do anything to try and help. A great value for money accommodation, ideal for a relaxing few days.

I had a lovely relaxing 4 nights, a stones throw away from what is essentially a private beach. The room was perfect and the owner was kind and welcoming. There were numerous great restaurants nearby, all accessible from the beach.

Su was a great hostess! Not only did she help us find a scooter, but her husband drove us to the pier. Other than that, she always made sure that everything was just right for us. The apartment is beautiful, well furnished and has its own access to the beach. The beach is beautifully landscaped with plenty of seating. There is a 7-Eleven and many restaurants nearby. We would definitely come back! Thank you Su for the wonderful days!
