We booked the stay but it doesn't look nothing like the pictures. The room didn't even close well so everybody could enter if they wanted to. When we arrived the room was dirty (insects everywhere, hairs in the bed, black dirt on bathroom floor.) We had an outdoor bath with our stay but couldn't use because people could look into it. The pool and slide are in bed condition. We tried to cancel our booking or get some money back but the keep ignoring us. They are verry unprofessional! Don't book here, they are not willing to help!

Our stay started off chaotically. In the room we had booked, there was no second bed prepared, so we had to wait until it was arranged. When we finally entered the room, there were ants in the sink and around the toilet area. The towels, bed sheets, and blanket were dirty. After we complained, the manager was contacted and we were offered another room. However, this room had not been cleaned yet either, so we had to wait about another hour. In the new room, we again found dirty towels and an uncleaned toilet. The bed was just a mattress on the floor. We have photo evidence of all these issues. The next day, we were told they were sorry and that we would receive a refund. However, we were instructed to arrange this ourselves through Booking.com, as they claimed they could not process it directly. To this day, there has been no satisfactory resolution. Overall, very unprofessional and absolutely not recommended.

You really connect with nature. There is so much wildlife: fish, birds.. It is a peaceful place where you seem disconnected with the real world.

I would suggest to stay there because of the amazing views on the river and the mountains one may enjoy very early in the evening. For travellers arriving late - as I did - please be aware that the kitchen closes early. We ordered Grab food and had - given the relatively remote distance - wait over 1 hour to get our provisions.

Very scenic location right on a river. The little hut was cute with everything needed for a short stay. Food at the restaurant was really tasty and the breakfast we ordered was delicious. We enjoyed our brief stay. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

This place took us by surprise! Beautifully designed little hut rooms on the river with the friendliest staff and some of the best authentic Thai food we tasted in a month of travelling all around Thailand.

The team at Jantara went out of their way to make our stay comfortable despite difficult weather conditions. An authentic and delightful place to visit. Highly recommended.

Beautiful amenities. 30 minutes away from the airport, taxi and transport very good to access from reception. Staff are very, very nice and welcoming always helpful though little English still beautiful people. Location, bamboo huts on the water, absolutely stunning and the cutest rooms with outside bath and hot, hot water, shower and good toilet with Aircon and snacks and restaurant one minutes walk away. No desert on menu but offer ice cream fridge. Menu mostly spicy have to ask little bit of spice if you don’t like spicy food. Luxurious lots of photos worthy of Instagram. Pretty lights at night and again very very welcoming stay and goodbye. 30 minutes from Surat Thani city. Really loved my stay here and definitely come back. Ps: They’re building a swimming pool soon for the resort. 🥰😊❤️

This property was so unique we stayed on the lake view bungalow it was so cute and the scenery was beyond our expectations. The accommodation offered kayaks and a jet ski to use free of charge which was really generous and gave us an opportunity to explore along the lake and take a dip. The restaurant had some of the best food we have had in Thailand ! Room was very comfortable Tv has Netflix, beds was the most comfortable we have slept in our entire 2 weeks in Thailand and very clean bathroom.

Location is beautiful , original setting of the hotel is amazing. But it is run down. Walkways are patched up. The huts are dirty. The beds are super soft and sweating hot. There was no duvet sheet. Breakfast , drinks and minibar prices overpriced, even the fish food that is in the rooms you have to pay.
