Great hosts, Han had loads of knowledge of where to walk what to see even gave us a lift with his gorgeous dog poo to show us a walk through mangroves. Hannie was lovely and made us a lovely breakfast every morning...

The bungalow and the garden around it are beautiful and we loved our stay there. The hosts are super friendly and helpful, you get breakfast every morning that you can enjoy on your balcony. For getting around the island you will need a scooter but the hosts also arranged this for us. We liked everything about this accommodation and would come back any time :)

“Simple and quiet place near the beach”

Lovely small set of 3 bungalows in a garden, just behind Island Yoga (1 minute walk if you want to go to their drop in morning class). The rooms were simple, but clean and comfortable. Ahn and his wife, who look after the place, were very kind and helpful. They bring a thai breakfast from the market every morning. You're a 2 minute walk from a quiet beach. The room had a kettle with coffee and tea. Very good value for money!

“Wonderful hosts in a serene paradise”

The place was so serene and beautiful; nestled perfectly in nature just a short distance away from my favourite beach on the island. But my biggest thanks go to the two hosts. Truely kind, warm, and caring people. The day I arrived, I was suffering badly from food poisoning and was confined to my bed and room for the first two days of my stay. Not only was I sick, but I was feeling extra fragile and vulnerable, being that I was travelling alone with no one to support me. However, the hosts went out of their way to look out for me and look after me. Cooking me an extra special breakfast to aim my recovery and making sure I had everything I needed. It was incredibly touching and helped me feel safe and at home while I rested. I have no hesitation in recommending and am hoping to return again for an extended stay 🙏

“Calm, peaceful & comfortable”

Loved my stay at Mangrove. Ahn & Honey were incredibly kind and helpful and I especially appreciated the homemade breakfast she brought me every morning. The bungalow was lovely, very clean and the location is perfect for yoga lovers – there’s a drop-in yoga class right in front of the bungalows.

Lovely location, cute bungalow. Loved the Thai cushion matttresses for lounging around. Tasty breakfast with local Thai specialties and fruit. Mosquito net great at night!

“Clean and rustic lodge in jungle setting near the beach”

Very sweet and rustic accomodation right next to the yoga retreat and beach. The place was clean and bed/pillows and sheets were nice, and they provided a yummy and very local breakfast wrapped in banana leaves. Electric kettle with coffee and tea (no milk or creamer provided).

Thank you for the wonderful welcome and stay. We were really happy with everything and the breakfast was yummy. We liked that everything worked well, was spotless and that there were little extras like fresh coconuts and the owner helping us to organise a scooter within minutes. A lovely spot in nature close to the beach.

Lovely hosts, very welcoming, amazingly fresh breakfast and will stretch into lunch. Some of kindest people, they even crafted me something to take home with me. I will be back!
