“Quaint little house in nature!”

The host, Denni (I hope that is spelled correctly) and his family, were so welcoming, kind and helpful. Denni delivered breakfast each morning and his daughter was easily available on WhatsApp for any other needs. The area was fantastic, tucked away on a little side street with a view of a fantastic pond/lake teeming with wildlife. There are a few restaurants and a shop just a 5 minute walk away on the beachfront (or 1 min on a scooter). Highly recommend Rabianglay restaurant for some delicious Thai food and fabulous staff. There is a brilliant yoga centre, cafe and restaurant about a 10-15 minute walk away that offers a great drop in yoga session daily!Other beaches and the main town are easily accessible by scooter or songthaew. We loved this place and would come back in a heartbeat!

“Pleasant stay in a nice, functional and large room”

Simple yet spacious, quiet and comfortable room. A bit remote but no problem if one has a motorbike or other transportation.

The owner, Danny was a wonderful man. So friendly and arranged everything that i needed. There was complimentary water and coffee which was such a lovely gesture. Danny even gave me some coconuts from his home🤍 Also i rented from him a scooter 🛵 that was in very good condition and reliable! I especially adored the huge comfy bed- had such good sleeps there! If you want a good massage - Ask Danny, he knows a masterful man! I also loved the surrounding village and the hornbills and the surrounding nature. Although it was raining quite a bit when i was there, i still had an amazing time in Koh Yao Noi ❤️ thank you from all my heart ☀️ Also my room was pink which is mu fav color 💅

“Nice quiet stay in small fishing village”

Nice place to stay in a quiet area. It’s a short walk to some restaurants and cafes but would need a bike/scooter/taxi to get to busier parts of the islands. Free drinking water was provided and the place was nice and clean, the owner was also helpful with organising transport for us to and from the port. We had a lovely stay!

Very nice place! Met my expectations. Stayed with a friend and the bed was spacious which was very nice. Aircondition was good, just had to stay on for a bit to cool down the room. Felt clean and just what we needed for a one night staycation. Lots of bottles with water, so nice, also some already in the spacious fridge.

The location is lovely, just outside of the busy area but close enough to still enjoy it! The wildlife in the mornings is incredible to hear. The breakfast is lovely, more than enough to see you through the day! The gentlemen who checked us in was an absolute delight, he dealt with everything so well, his English was absolutely fantastic and after staying for 3 days, he remembered our names! Nothing was too much trouble for these hosts and if I could rate it higher, I would!! Recommend any day and would love to come again!!

First of all Danny's courtesy and kindness, Then the size and cleanliness of the bungalow. The huge and soft bed, the good supply of coffee and what you need for the kitchen, plenty of bottles of water. Delightful interior, my bungalow looked like Barbie's... A truly beautiful place with a tribe of monkeys that walk in the morning on the mangoes in front and hornbills that flutter among the branches.

Denny and his daughter Jenna are very helpful and pleasant. It’s a compact unit that suited my needs perfectly.. quiet & comfy. I will be back! The island is very quiet and might not suit many younger people.

“Excellent local accommodation among locals”

If you want to live next to locals and see big birds and monkeys from your terrace then this one is for you! Everything was perfect, The owner is such a sweetheart he explains everything and you can rent a motorbike for a good price for your entire stay (he brings the motorbike to check-in and you have it until checkout for the discussed price). The breakfast is excellent, very tasty and you will get the main dish, dessert and fruits. So we needed to leave some of the dishes later because we are not used to eat that much in the morning. Everything is clean, there is water for you in the fridge. Nice local experience! And the location is perfect. Calm and without tourists.

We liked the location, the fact that we were leaving among locals and no touristic resorts were near. We loved the nature around it, the monkeys and many birds (many hornbills). You can rent the scooter directly with the host. The hosting family is really nice.

“Perfect place to stay!”

The location was perfect, very private and quiet, but only a couple of minutes from a small village and easy access to the rest of the island. It was lovely in the morning to sit outside and listen to the birds, one morning we even saw a few monkeys. The bungalows are brand new, aircon works great, beds comfy and the grates are all covered tightly with mesh so no insects got in the whole time we were there. Usually with bungalows you’re very overlooked by other guests but at Kanitta there are only 2 bungalows so perfect for a stay as a small group. Denee who runs it with his family is really friendly and helpful and very quick to respond to messages if you ever need anything.
