“It's ok that the place is old and worn - but this is mould infested and should not be rented out.”
We stayed here as it is the only place close to where we needed to be for a sports arrangement at the nearby school. Other than that, the surroundings are rural and quite ordinary for Norwegian housing areas. For nice walks, you will find nature everywhere in Norway. As for the northern lights, these are extremely seldom in this area (but has happened a couple of times). You need to go up north, wintertime, for that, though.

“A calm, peaceful spot”
A bunch of animals of all kind, which was very curious and friendly (cats, hens, rabbit and so on). We liked the calmness and simplicity of the place, and couldn't ask for more! The hostess was very friendly

“The Yellow Dive”
The. Village shop down the road. Too embarrassed to take any photos. Just want to forget it ever happened. Adjoining the shop was the local charity shop, I now see where all the stuff in the Yellow House came from.

It was a really nice stay, in the beautiful surroundings, perfect if you want to disconnect and spend some quality time in a cozy place. Communication with host was really easy and he was so kind I would strongly recommend!

A perfect gem in Bamble. We stayed for 1 night after hiking in Preikestolen, bed was comfy and the place was quiet. In place, there are also some animals and a little kitten family, which made us smile.
