A very charming hotel in the historic center of a beautiful city. The rooms are very clean, and the breakfast is excellent. The reception is open during fixed hours but can always be reached by phone. A recommended choice for a vacation in Bamberg!

This hotel has a perfect location right in the center of Bamberg. The central area with shopping opportunities and fine dining is in a walking distance. It literally takes less than 5 minutes to get to the old city. My room was quite spacious and had everything that I needed during my stay. The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly and went out of their way to accommodate my needs and wishes. The guy at the reception desk helped to bring down my heavy luggage on the last day of my stay and the lady at the breakfast was very helpful when I couldn't find hot water for my tea. All in all, excellent service, very glad that I chose this particular hotel for my stay.

“A good hotel in a convenient location.”
Rooms were well decorated. Whole hotel had been very tastefully repurposed. Breakfast was great. Welcome was thorough though the recommended restaurant with local 'delicacies' was terrible!

“Excellent, small, well-decorated boutique hotel”
Location is excellent. Disabled access thoughtful. Rooms are interesting bathrooms are particularly pleasant. The shower is brilliant. Breakfast was better the second morning. There are cereals, yogurt, bread, fruit, meats, cheeses, smoked salmon and eggs. An excellent choice, tea and coffee from the machine of course. I really like my room. All of us found a chocolate waiting for us.
