“A fine choice, as a budget hotel.”
I was a bit "scared" staying at this budget hotel but there weren't too many options available at the time of my visit. The overall experience turned out to be better that I had expected. The room was cramped but ok for one person; definitely not sufficient for two. The bunk bed indicated that 3 persons could stay here! Location is pretty good. 5 minutes walk from the train station and nice stroll of 15 minutes to the old town.

It is always a positive experience staying at an Ibis hotel, as the standard is consistent and reliable. In this case, even though it was an Ibis Budget, we were pleasantly surprised by the size of the room, which is usually smaller. Both the room and bathroom were clean. The staff was very kind and efficient. The breakfast is also worth it and very convenient. The hotel is located close to the train station, within walking distance, which makes it very practical.

Makes the most out of limited space. Smart and practical. The location is OK, soundproofing is properly taken care of.

“Convenient”
Our daughter loved the bunk bed. It was a quiet place, conveniently located near the train station so we could easily plan little trips around Bamberg. The staff was very attentive, polite and helped us with all our queries.
