“Quiet minimalist centrally-located hotel with great views”
Instagram-worthy view on famous Bamberg rathaus was the reason I booked it. It did not disappoint. Deluxe room with a king bed was a good size, the bedding was great, and the staff was efficient. Very quiet and I slept with the window open. Great beer Ekharts in the restaurant.

“A gem”
The location is excellent, no issues whatsoever. The room was very comfortable with the sound of the waterfall with an open window. Situated in the middle of the city, it offered great sightseeing opportunities at ones doorstep. The breakfast was very good and tailored made according to wishes.

“We choose the wrong time to visit Bamberg in the holiday season! Beware of crowds in Aug/Sept!”
Facilities in the bedroom and quality of the linen etc were very good. Air conditioning would have been a nice inclusion (see below) Staff were good and very attentive Food was good but breakfast overpriced

“Best location and a great place to stay”
Brilliant location on the water in Bamberg with a weir next door so you have the lovely sounds of rushing water when you open the windows. Perfect view from our room, great lift, good size room. Nice cosy bar with friendly staff, restaurant was also very nice, good food and good service, although one night they were rather slow and very full
