We had a lovely clean, spacious, comfortable room with period features, set in an interesting historic courtyard. The room had a nice bathroom and a delicious breakfast came as part of the deal. Check in was easy and we were lucky enough to get a parking spot in the courtyard. Bamberg was close enough to walk to and is such a beautiful fairytale-like town. Overall we had a lovely night/morning at the Hopfenhotel.

the toilet is right behind your very small bed, only separated by a half wall, you basically sleep with you head in the bathroom. the room is tiny, dark and you can not sleep with the window open because it would not be safe. breakfast is included, but you have to wait 5 minutes in line for your tea, because there is just one machine for all the guests.
