Overview
The non-smoking hotel Am Blumenhaus is set in a central yet tranquil location in the beautiful Medieval city of Bamberg in Upper Franconia. It is situated only a few minutes by foot from the centre of Bamberg, in a select residential area. The famous Old Town with its beautiful half-timbered houses and sights, which are protected under UNESCO world-heritage, is a short walk away. A further 5-minute stroll from the hotel takes you to a forested nature reserve along the Regnitz River, which is the perfect spot to relax. Here you will also find the Regnitz cycling trail.

Great accommodation and within walking distance is Bamberg’s old town district. Breakfast was a very decent spread for a small hotel and comfortable rooms. Staff were helpful.

“Would definitely stay again”
Check in was easy even though we arrived late. The room was lovely, bathroom was roomy and clean. The location is close enough to town that you can walk without having to manage the drama of old town parking and navigating streets in the car. The breakfast was fantastic. Definitely would recommend.
