We were welcomed so nicely with tea and food, the owners were very friendly! The room was great with a big comfortable bed. Also, the location was good in a calm street, but still close to the main street. We stayed for two nights and the owner created two different delicious breakfast for us.

They rent one xoible room and one part of the livingroom, seperated for forniture. I slept in the second. The bed was a couch. The family don.t speak english at all. The breakfast was good.

“Only stay if you're on a tight budget and absolutely have to stay in this city.”
I stayed for 5 nights in April and all was well, however, they're now adding three rooms to the booking platforms when they only have two. If you book the nice double room, there is only a 50% chance you'll get it and if you don't then you'll be in the dinning room behind a curtain on the sofa bed. This is obviously false advertising and immoral and would probably bother most people. They're extending the guest house which has been ongoing since April, and the impression I get, which is to be expected for the elderly owners is that they're tired of the constant tourists, though they want the funds said tourists bring. I think it's a lot of work for them, and it doesn't feel welcoming any more. I have to say that the breakfast is definitely not good. I really don't like giving such reviews to places like this but I have to be objective and rate accordingly so that people understand that the WiFi may not always work, the breakfast really isn't worth anything and you may not get the room you see when you book. I booked a room and instead got a curtained futon in the dinning room. Laundry is 200.

We had a pleasant stay at Oimo Guesthouse in Balykchy. It was our first night in a yurta in Kyrgyzstan, and it was a very nice experience. The place is simple but very clean, the breakfast was tasty and filling, and the owner, a sweet elderly lady, made us feel welcome. A good stop for travelers passing through Balykchy, with everything you need for a comfortable night.

The owners are very nice: It feels like you're staying at your grandparent's house. You will be served tea and home made jam. We booked a double room but we were actually staying in the yurt behind the house which was fine for us. Very good value for money. Breakfast was nice as well.

The owner and her daughter are very nice. She offered me tea and jam when I arrived. Also it is nice to be able to have clean drinking water. Check in and payment very easy and smooth. The bed was comfortable.

“Very Quaint Indeed”
A very nice senior couple operates this guest house. They are both very kind and welcoming. I stayed 5 nights during which time I met three other tourists. The location is a 5 minute walk from the bazaar, and the property is cosy with secure parking for a vehicle and bikes. There was always hot water and the WiFi worked excellently. The breakfast was charming too. I would recommend to all. A very hospitable stay indeed :) Make sure to contact them on WhatsApp before you arrive though.
