“Beautiful hostel in Balqash”
The place was beautiful. Clean and well kept. The kitchen was completely furnished and the bathroom was spotless. The beds are comfortable and cozy. The owner is one of the kindest people I've ever met!

“Good value for money & helpful staff, but not a great location!”
The staff was quite helpful. The town was too small, and the lake was not as clean as I had imagined, so I did not sleep over, but went to the next town immediately. The staff helped me with booking a taxi similar to Blah Blah car. I was allowed early check in and was helped with directions whenever I wanted. The room was a capsule, but they had indicated that earlier, so no cheating from the hostel. Also the locker was fairly large

“Comfy stay with great service”
Very comfortable beds and each capsule even has a window. They also let us check in very early at 7am which was very much appreciated. Great service by Chingiz who went out of his way to help us find transport to Bishkek!

The staff is very friendly and helpful. I was provided with chai/coffee after coming back from exploring the town. I was asked about my day and felt like they actually wanted me there. I had my food ordered for me and delivered at the hotel. One of the staff drove with me to the store so I could exchange some larger bills for smaller bills. I am usually good at being alone and doing things myself but it was actually nice to experience amazing hospitality that the people of Kazakhstan are known for. I also enjoyed practicing my Russian with the staff. I did not expect any of the examples I listed above and I am glad I had this experience. The showers and toilets work well. Kitchen is well equipped. Beds are comfortable and offer enough space.

The staff is very professional and helpful (speaking English). The capsule is perfect, each one has a window too. Comfy bed. Clean toilet.
