Overview
In beautiful North Clare, with views of the Burren Hills, Cappabhaile House offers spacious bedrooms and traditional Irish breakfasts. There is also free parking and free Wi-Fi. The individually designed bedrooms at Cappabhaile are decorated in rich colours, and each has a private bathroom. Rooms also feature tea/coffee facilities, a telephone and TV. Breakfasts are served daily in the beautiful dining room, including fresh fruit, continental cheeses and indulgent cooked options. There is also a guest lounge and games room with a pool table. Cappabhaile Guest House is situated just outside Ballyvaughan, between Aillwee Cave and the Burren College of Art. The famous Cliffs of Moher are a 35-minute drive away.

Such a beautiful location. And staff were so helpful. We had booked 3 rooms with one toddler and it was such an enjoyable stay. Breakfast on both days was excellent.

“Brilliant over night stay”
This Guest House is very easy to locate, the room we had was very spacious and breakfast in the morning was delicious. You make your breakfast order the night before as it is ready for you when arrive. Brilliant! The Taxi driver Catherine is extremely friendly as is the staff of this guest house. Go to Monks for evening dinner…. Very nice fish and chips! We visited The Kylemore Abbey before we arrived. Definitely worth a visit

“Very dated B&B - clean but soulless and overpriced for what it was.”
Very dated B&B - certainly not a country house feel. Overpriced for what and where it was. I stayed in a gorgeous hotel in Connemara the night before and it was cheaper than here. Quality of bedding poor. Thought the fruit salad in the photos would be available with yogurt at breakfast but when I asked for fruit I was given a banana and a mandarin . Breakfast was nice and staff serving were very pleasant. No hello or welcome on check in - was only asked if I had prepaid!

The breakfast was adapted to my vegetarian lifestyle. It was tasty, the portions generous. Very cosy bed, the room was very quiet, relaxing with lovely countryside around the house

We booked this based on it's excellent reviews by previous guests. We had a super room, dual aspect, own private sitting/coffee/TV area and good quality linen, towels, furnishings with lots of details like mugs and cups/saucers, non-slip kettle tray, trinket tray in bathroom, glass topped furniture to revent stain spills, hinged bathroom mirror, etc . Impressed by the instant hot water in the generous bathroom en suite in the shower and taps. Given there were a lot of other guests at the same time, ensuring constant hot water and perfect timed served breakfasts (excellent quality from jams to the full Irish or poached eggs), we felt everything was generous, good quality, flexible and timely. All carried out with discrete expertise and excellence. Good sized car park and easy access to reception. This place is a jewel in the crown of B&B's. Located minutes from superb seafood restaurants (Monks or a short drive to Linnane's Lobster Bar) for foodie traveller's and easy access to the coastal roads connecting to Galway etc for self drivers/car hires.

The rooms was very spacious. The staff were friendly and knowledgable about the area. The facilities were fantastic and we spent many hours relaxing playing pool. The breakfast was amazing. Great variety and pleantiful.
