“Peace, quiet and a wonderful breakfast”
The environment here is beautiful. There are three fields with 5 cabins distributed between them and as these are large fields there is no chance of seeing or overhearing other guests. Wonderful sense of privacy and amazing views! Ruth is lovely; very helpful and fun to chat to. and Milo and Daisy gave me a great welcome. The breakfast really was yummy. Fresh fruit, yoghurt, freshly baked bread, preserves, and eggs from Ruth's rescue hens kept me going until dinner. When not out for a walk it was lovely to just sit and read beside the picture window. Fabulous setting.

“A Perfect Peaceful Escape in Nature”
We had the most wonderful stay at Nire Valley Eco Camp. The experience was peaceful, beautiful, and surrounded by nature - exactly what we were looking for to relax and unwind. The setting is serene, with stunning views and a real sense of calm. We brought our dog along and he thoroughly enjoyed the environment. The host, Ruth, was absolutely amazing - incredibly friendly, thoughtful, and accommodating. One of the highlights was the delicious homemade breakfast delivered in a lovely picnic basket each morning, which made the experience feel even more special. It’s the perfect retreat for anyone looking to disconnect and relax in the countryside. It’s still close enough to explore the surrounding areas. Dungarvan is just a 25–30 minute drive away and well worth a visit. Highly recommend this spot for a unique and restful getaway. Can’t wait to return!

“Magical adventure in nature with yummy breakfast on the terrace”
We had a magic stay at Nire Valley Eco Camp. Ruth was a wonderful and attentive host and went above and beyond to look after us. The camp is magical, surrounded by nature, we saw deer and wild birds every day. The breakfast was outstanding. We are already planning our return.

“Two days of pure bliss.”
The whole experience was amazing! A real hidden gem. I have stayed in many pet friendly cabins in Ireland and Europe and this by far, has been the best. The cabins are comfortable and well equipped. The views and surrounding area are breathtaking. Within minutes of arriving, I was relaxed, calm and filled with a sense of contentment. Ruth and her entourage were welcoming and very helpful. And the breakfasts...best I have ever had! I, and my furry friend, will be back :)

“A perfect place to unwind”
The whole experience at Nire Valley was amazing. From the comfortable cabin, delicious fresh, homemade breakfasts to the stunning views and peaceful surroundings. Ruth is a very attentive host while also giving you privacy and space to fully relax. You can just see how much she cares about animals and the environment. Our dog absolutely loved it too and was able to be involved in the whole holiday thanks to Ruth’s great recommendations for dog friendly food places and activities. It was great to have the experience of camping and being in nature with the comfort of a king size bed, warm cabin and hot shower. Thank you Ruth, Milo and Daisy!

“A new definition of relaxed.”
Where to start? We liked everything. Be it Ruth and her contagiously happy and relaxed demeanour or the amazing views from our cabin and, at the risk of sounding new age, the feeling of of connection to the planet I got while being there. The cabin was nestled on its own field surrounded by forests and mountains, I can not describe the view we were getting waking uup there or having breakfast. It must be experienced. You can not be closer to wild fauna as we woke up to deers grazing meters from our bed! If you're lucky as we were you will also spot those giant white owls hunting at night under the starry skies. The bed was extremely comfy and large and we were surprised by the amount of comfort the cabin provided. An actual cool cooler that was large enough for a week of groceries (Perfect for storing ciders :D). A clean and large enough bathroom and we did not once worry about anything as Ruth was always a phone call away. As proven on the first day of arrival when our shower had no hot water it was fixed in about 5 mins by Ruth! The breakfast provided was top-notch and varied day by day (I recommend the crepes and the salmon!) and was delivered in the morning by Ruth on the porch but we could sleep in undisturbed as I am sure that place will make you incredibly relaxed. Which brings me to the key attraction of the camp in my opinion, the relaxation. I literally forgot about everything else outside of the cabin, we knew they were other people on the camp but you don't feel, hear or see them. I just could sleep, read, watch nature, hike, connect with my partner, meditate, think and exist in a way I had forgotten to do due to the hussle of "normal life". A special thank you to Paul for being a life-saver as our battery died one day while being there and he had the tools and expertise to fix it and help us back on the road to get a new one.

“Perfect place to chill out but not for 5 star hotel moaners”
Privacy, tranquility, dog friendly - no wifi but we had 4g no problem. Great place to reset and de-stress… Loved the home made bread, healthy juices, straight from hens eggs. Real nature and our dogs loved the stay. Plenty of different utensils but I would always take with me additional camping kit for cooking. Owner is very helpful and friendly.

“A truly unique balance between modern conveniences and Nature. Incredible experience!”
A really special place, stunning views, silence and privacy, a real fusion with nature. The sound of the wind, the rustle of rain and trees. Stunning stars at night! Deer often run out of the forest, and when it gets dark, a whole herd can come out to graze on the field. The cabin itself is small, cozy and very warm, with a neat clean bathroom and good water pressure in the shower. There is a small gas stove outside, you can cook food and boil a kettle, you have all necessary kitchenware. Every morning we got a basket with different food to make a delicious breakfast with our own hands - freshly baked bread, eggs (raw - you can fry or boil), milk, tea, coffee, juice, sugar, salt and pepper, butter, jams, berries, yoghurt, smoked salmon with cottage cheese. I was so surprised when one day I found a bottle of dough and a pan in the basket accompanied by chocolate sauce and fresh berries, so that we could make the pancakes ourselves. I was literary over the moon! Making pancakes in the open air, listening to the sounds of the forest and enjoying the dazzling rays of the dawn sun. Very romantic and just cool! Host created a truly unique balance between modern conveniences and Nature. You feel so comfortable living in the house but at the same time close to wild life as if you are a part of it. And Ruth is such a wonderful person, friendly and attentive ^^ Incredible experience and most pleasant memories, thank you!!
