“A very cosy starting point at the edge of Europe for spectacular excursions.”

The location in St Finian’s Bay is amazing, with the beach and a lovely restaurant a very short walk away and amazing views of the spectacular landscape. We could even see the Skelligs from our room on the first floor. St Finian’s Bay might be a good distance from Killarney and its national park, but is is very near the Kerry Cliffs, Valentia Island, and many spectacular hiking opportunities. The house is very roomy and comfortable. We especially liked the large, well-supplied kitchen and the huge living room, with its conservatory, wood stove and comfortable leather sofas. The bedrooms and bathrooms were great, too. We were in touch with Michael, the host, with a few questions about the house and activities in the area, and always received a prompt and helpful response.

We loved this modern house, it was one of the best we have ever rented. So bright, spacious & well equipped, all (including the beds) very comfortable, clean, power showers and great views from all windows & the sunroom. The quiet location is an ideal base for daytrips as well as relaxing. The area is so peaceful and beautiful. We loved the sheep behind the house and walks to the beach, the chocolate factory & fine restaurant nearby. The host was very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend Chapel Cross House and would love to return when we are again in this region.

The house was very well equipped and spacious – we felt comfortable from the very beginning. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and left nothing to be desired. The modern, spacious kitchen had everything we needed, with high-end appliances and thoughtful details. We also loved the cozy seating area of the sun room with its view towards the bay. The surrounding landscape is stunning and perfect for excursions and relaxation. The beach of beautiful St. Finians bay is just a short walk away. We especially want to highlight the friendly host: he was extremely attentive and checked in with us several times to make sure everything was fine. We can highly recommend Chapel Cross House!

Chapel Cross is a spacious and well equipped house and we had a wonderful stay there.

House and Location are amazing close to the beach and playground and the kids loved Skellig Chocolate Factory and driftwood restaurant all within walking distance and just a short drive about 6km to Kerry Cliffs which are stunning . Would definitely recommend.
