Beautifully restored historic two story house with antique adornments. My wife loved the spring bed. There is a shared kitchen, expansive upstairs verandah and a large lounge room. The river and walking path is only 100m away, as is a new public pool and maritime museum. A little further and there are a wide variety of restaurants, pubs and shops.

Whilst it is a very comfortable establishment, it is not for me as I prefer to have all facilities in the bedroom eg, tea/coffee making, toaster, fridge etc. I do not want to have to go to shared facilities as nice as they were, to make a cup of tea.

The old world style combined with modern conveniences. We had room one on the first floor and we were able to leave open the door to the our private balcony and the bathroom window which both had screens and produced a pleasant cool coastal breeze into the room. As my husband was unwell I was able to enjoy the lounge/dining room all to myself as I relaxed and read in front of the television. The access to the kitchen and its coffee machine and cereals was an added bonus.
