“Peaceful property near town centre”

This property was peaceful and cosy. Only a short 15 min walk into Ballina town and the taxi back was a reasonable 7 euro. The hosts were friendly. We couldnt reccommend it more. A very enjoyable Winter break.

Location was excellent and very close to the village and event hotel. The cottage was of a very high standard and had everything that was needed for a family break away.

The Annex provided our group of ladies quiet and peaceful surroundings, yet was convenient to town. After taking part in a dragon boat regatta on the beautiful Moy River, we returned to the expansive garden for a late afternoon well-deserved prosecco while the sun was shining and then setting. The annex is spotless, well equipped, and comfortable. There is a large driveway parking area that can accommodate several cars. Kathryna, our host, found and returned by post a sentimental gift that was presented to our group, which we left behind! We are most grateful for her kindness. Our stay was great!

“It was good but the heating left a bad taste”

The fact that the heating was controlled externally by the host. He set the temperature and the times it came on and went off. We came in late at the night and it was very cold and didn’t feel right to text him at 1am to turn it on

Breathnach Cottage was a clean apartment with good facilities. There was a big garden attached.to the property as well. Ballina town centre was only a short walk away. It was an ideal location to access the wider North Mayo and Sligo area. I would definitely use it again if it was available.

An amazing place to stay, very clean and modern, had everything we needed. Aldo made sure to have the heating on for us when he knew we would be arriving back. Aldo was very easy to contact and responded immediately with any questions we had. Great location as well, very close to the town and train station. Would highly recommend staying here
