Established in 1854, Quality Inn The George Hotel Ballarat is situated on the historic Lydiard Street North and features a bar and restaurant. It is a 1 minute walk from Her Majesty's Theatre. Very well located to where we needed to be. The staff were extremely accomodating and lovely to deal with. The value for money was really good. Good rooms, everything we needed. There's parking which was easy to access from the hotel.

I loved this place, spacious, well laid out modern room in a stylish old hotel. Loved the modern lift! A very quiet room although the hotel was fully booked. Top location and SUCH a good price, forget about those other hotels in Central Ballarat, I've stayed at them all and this is better.

“Fabulous!”
Love the huge bed, and the separate lounge and kitchenette from the bedroom. It’s so spacious. Amazing staff, especially at reception and the breakfast café. The bearded staff member was so accommodating. Breakfast was fantastic—the waffle was huge with marshmallows and berries, and the Spanish omelet was delicious. Thank you for lovely experience!

“A really comfortable stay at a historic hotel in Ballarat”
Warm welcome and good guidance. The hotel has good facilities with a spacious lounge bar, beautiful Victorian veranda, and generous rooms. Well situated on one of the main streets close to an Art Gallery, fabulous old cinema and numerous cafes, bars and restaurants. On site parking a plus too.

We just stayed one night in this beautiful heritage building. The rooms were spacius, modern with the heritage touch. The bad was spacious wit a great shower. The location was great. All together it was a superp experiance. The beds were very comfy

The George was lovely and clean. Really quiet and well appointed. I appreciated the generous supply of towels, nice little kitchenette with crockery and decent mini fridge & microwave. The bathroom was modern, shower was good.
