Overview
Kryal Castle is a Medieval Adventure Park and Resort that offers a unique combination of entertainment and accommodation. All rooms have free WiFi. Guests enjoy access to the Kryal Castle fortress outside of park opening hours. During the adventure park opening hours of weekends, Victorian school holidays and select public holidays, guests receive entry included with their room rate. All rooms include a flat-screen TV and a microwave. Themed suites feature hand-woven European tapestries. Some rooms include a spa bath. Mount Xavier Golf Course, Ballarat town centre and Ballarat Wildlife Park are all within 15 minutes’ drive of Kryal Castle Adventure Park.

“One knight at Kryal Castle”
The staff were cheerful and very friendly. I was rushed to hospital after an unfortunate dinner in Ballarat, and the hotel staff were very kind and considerate in looking after me when I returned. The park is mainly for families, or older children fan of knights. The entertainment is great, and after 4 pm the park is quiet (open only weekend, public holiday and school holidays for the park)

I booked in to the castle but due to my limitations I was unable to take my luggage up. The staff were very obliging and changed me to a cabin with parking beside.

The room was great for a large family group. It can hard to travel with a family of 8 so the size of the space for the price was refreshing. The ambience of the castle in the evening has a lovely feel. The in room continental breakfast was amazing as an included extra.

I stayed here while doing a clinic with my horse and the room was perfect to relax in after a long day, the complimentary breakfast was handy, and it was great being able to wander around the castle even when it is closed to the public.
